It is missing one of the plastic shrouds over the- current input binding post. But this does not affect it's functionality; it is cosmetic only and a banana jack still plugs in fine. I have tested all functions(current. DCV, ACV, and resistance) as well as GPIB operation. Shown is the DMM connected to a Valhalla Scientific 2701C DC calibrator set to various ranges as shown. Datron model 1062 6 1/2 Digit Multimeter
For your consideration is a working Datron model 1062 bench multimeter serial number 116721. The model 1062 has a resolution of 6 1/2 digits and can measure DCV. ACV(true rms) and resistance either in a 2-wire or 4-wire configuration. This meter is not equipped with the current measuring option. DCV and ACV ranges are from 100mV through 1000V. Resistance ranges are from 10 Ohms through 10MOhms. This meter also has built in math capabilities. Mx+b, max, min, dB, and limits. A ratio feature is available using the special rear input connector. The meter can be remotely programmed and controlled with the gpib/ieee488 rear connection. All functions work and appear to work correctly. I do not have all of the required standards to calibrate the meter but I have displayed pictures of the meter reading 10VDC from my 10V standard(actual value is-0.4ppm ... morefrom 10V) and 10kOhm from an ESI SR104(actual value is +4.6ppm from 10kOhms. Both readings are within specifications although the 10kOhm reading is near its upper limit. ACV appears to work correctly as closely as I can check it using a Fluke 5100B calibrator. This is a Datron 4707 multifunction calibrator that I used in a small calibration lab. I am no longer in the business. Which is the reason I am selling the instrument. It is an accurate calibrator when in current calibration, seems straight forward to use. I have not used the instrument for several years so I am a bit rusty on its functions and features so photos are provided to demonstrate its operation as best as I can. It does not have calibration documentation. It comes with the manufacturers service manual. the sale does not include the 4.5 digit dmm. neither the Datron nor the DMM are in a calibrated condition, the photos are to demonstrate functionality only. The options on the 4707 are 17,27 and 80. The leads are not included in the sale.

DATRON/WAVETEK 4953 10 Amp AC/DC Shunt. Originally designed as an add-on to their model 4950 Calibrator. This shunt can be used as a stand alone current calibration standard. I haven't found individual specifications. But when used in conjunction the Datron 4950 Transfer Standard, 10 Amp DC specifications are about 54 ppm, and 10 Amp AC specifications range from about 200 ppm at 9 Hz through 1 kHz; to about 1000 ppm at 20 kHz. This shunt is rated from DC to more than 20 kHz. I tested the shunt for DC at 10 Amps using a Fluke 5720A/5725A at 10 Amps, and read 99.9945 mV DC.
