Offered here is an S101 brand electric guitar in good used condition. S101 is a brand that is manufactured in China. It is a typical G ibson LP style guitar and has good sounding pickups. This guitar appears to be well built and as a seasoned guitar player. I was surprised and how well it plays and sounds. I locally took this in as a trade-in on some speakers I sold. I would love to keep it, but don't play as much as I used to, so am selling it off here. I gave it a thorough test run(played the heck out of it) and also took the time to put on new strings(Ernie Ball 9's) Polish the frets, and oil the fretboard. I worked as a guitar tech for 13 years so I hope I am still qualified to do so. I did ... morenot find any high frets and it plays well up and down the neck which is straight and a good neck. The frets are in decent shape. They show a little wear, but not bad. The neck joint is in great shape and does not show any signs of stress. The tuners seem to be good quality tuners and it stays in tune well. I installed a brand new toggle switch and it works great. The volume and tone pots have been serviced and do not make any scratchy noises when in use. It cleaned up well and overall is a good looking guitar. But does have some cosmetic issues. There are typical scratches, pick scratches, and scuffs from use, but no huge nicks or chunks out of the finish. It looks like it took a hit on the strap button on the end. The finish there has a few flaws(cracks in the finish) radiating out from the strap button, which is typically what happens when it hits. See the pics. There is some chrome plating missing on the rear pickup. Looks like it has peeled off. It doesn't look bad, but if you get up close you can see a couple different chrome colors. See the pics.
