It is in the original box that was shipped from the National Radio Institute in Washington D.C on March 20, 1954. Its declared value was $119.00! The 259 has been tested and works fine, but I seem to need to hold a radio close to the antenna for the frequency counter to work. I never use it for that but tested it for selling purposes. The signal generator and SWR tuner/analyzer work great. I have tuned many antennas with this and it is a valuable piece of test equipment. HP-11714A opt k01 Service Accessory Kit for 8662A& 8663A Signal Generator. These are hard to come by. Took me a long time to bag this for my shop. This kit is complete with all of the items listed in photo 2 plus a 1Mhz Low Pass Filter which can be seen in the center of the kit. The tape is marked HP-8662A so it is likely not usable on the 8663A but all the cables. Adapters and extenders are. I have used in many times and it's just what you need to service these fine generators. All of the items are in near new condition and the case was relined as the old foam was getting sticky. I think the K01 opt is the 1Mhz LPF as it is not listed on the inventory pictured. I will box and pad it well. Thanks for looking.

One could try it and if not it would be easy to replace the transformer as the output voltages of the Primary(2 each 120V windings) and Secondary(50V and 50V C.T. windings are stenciled on the top of the transformer. Your looking at a R&S sig-gen from 5 kHz to 1.5 GHz that has a whole boatload of digital modulations. Frequency response. Power range(attenuators) were checked, FM, AM modulation and I can confirm that something is modulating although I didn't check the constellation when I selected the digital modulation scheme on. The unit also successfully calibrates without errors. Because power accuracy and dynamic range is good. I'm going to have to call this a working unit. The only defects I have found are missing power button and rotary knob. The photographs are the actual unit. Not some stock pic that you see on some others out there.
