For sale is this working Approved Electronics Measurement Corp Model A-200 0.1-60 Mhz(100KHz- 60 Mhz) AM signal generator. With switchable None, 440Hz, or 0-100% audio modulation(with 0, 10, and 100x boost) I turned my AM radio to 625 KHz. Left the orange wire on this output as pictured, turned dial on signal generator(frequency generator) it blanked static where shown(very close to 625 KHz) No hum. Switched to 440Hz, yes sounded good, Plugged the gray cable(has RCA plug on end) into my CD player. Yes, music sounded good on my AM radio. I added a power supply cap 22uF 450v just to be safe. Old cap(s) not leaky. Unplug this transmitter, and you could still hear music for many(about 20 seconds) Everything turns nicely. Includes good tubes 6X5GT, Two 6SH7GT. RCA 6SN7GT. Vintage Military RF Signal Generator, AN/URM26B
Up for auction is an AN/URM26B signal generator. The generator will provide a modulated or unmodulated signal over the range of 4 MHz to 405 MHz which can be varied between 0.1uV to 0.1V. The signal can be modulated at 400 or 1000 Hz. The generator is still relatively accurate. I compared its output signal to an HP8640’s output(To be honest I can not make any guarantee as to the accuracy and/or calibration of the 8640 and HP141S spectrum analyzer) See the attached photos. The first photo is the 8640’s signal(100MHz at-50dBm) and the second is the 26B’s signal. The signal frequency is essentially the same however the 26B’s signal level appears to be about 6dBm higher. I do not have any of the adaptors that were supplied with it. I have included a copy of the user/repair manual. The housing is typical of a piece of equipment of this vintage ... moreand has some dents and paint scuffs and scratches. It is not real pretty. Fortunately this has no effect on performance. The generator has performed well for me for a number of years until I replaced it with the 8640. Vintage Military RF Signal Generator, AN/URM25D
Up for auction is an AN/URM25D signal generator. The generator will provide a modulated or unmodulated signal over the range of 10 KHz to 50 MHz which can be varied between 0.1uV to 0.1V. The signal can be modulated at 400 or 1000 Hz. It also has and audio output at 400 and 1000 Hz which can be varied between 0-3V. It has a 1 MHz crystal controlled oscillator for calibration and there is an output for this but I am not sure it makes it to the output connector. The level control pot seems to be dirty or worn and at RF frequencies may not be working right which seems to be affecting this feature. The generator is still relatively accurate. Great working signal generator! Used on my bench for last 8 years. Recently tested. Attenuator good on all settings. Output within specs on all bands. Output ranges 10dB steps and a 13 dB vernier provide power settings from +10 dBm to-130 dBm(0.7 volts to 0.07 microvolts) into 50 ohms. There is an auxiliary RF output on the rear suitable for connecting an external digital frequency counter. Cosmetically nice. A handy. Compact RF signal generator. Only known issue is that the long lever part of the range switch knob has broken off. The range can still be switched. But a tighter grip on the knob is obviously required.
