There is even a ground lift on the outputs, nice. You can use additional effects with the Mustang Floor thru an effects loop. You can run an outboard music source into an auxiliary input, you can listen on headphones… yes, versatile. The built-in effects and amp models are all usable and there is decent touch sensitivity that you will discover especially on patches ... morethat are low to medium gain. Front panel editing is straightforward. You get foot access to more user patches than you’ll probably need. As well as a tuner and a tap tempo function. You can play the floor either in preset mode or you can dive into a preset and use the individual foot switches to control amp and effects. There is a jack to add a second expression pedal. Now. This is an amp that is just plug and play. Its a four channel amp with 60W per channel but you can run it as a stereo amp where it then pumps out 200W per channel. Its pretty well made and the sound quality is actually not too bad. Placed side by side with similarly priced Adcom and Aragon amps and the Fosgate shared the same dynamics but is a little bit smoother in the mid-range. This is a no fuss amplifier. Pair with a good source unit, a good preamp and a good pair of speakers and you would have a smashingly good sounding system. If you want to build a complete system that cost between $1,500- $2,000, you can start with this 4100 as the heart of the system and go from there.
