Novametrix Transcutaneous Calibrator for TCOM This was purchased from a local hospital that closed it's inpatient services. It was barely used and though it has a chip off the front plastic and a small scratch on the top. The gauges, inside metal and all the connectors are pristine. Quest Electronics 211A/FS Sound Level Meter , Calibrator CA-12B , Shure Mic
I am unfamiliar with this meter and do not know if it is working properly. It had no batteries in it and so I put 2 new 9 volt batteries in. Please see the photos of the meter; one with switch in battery position and the other with the switch in test position with the calibrator turned on. Calibrator makes a tone when turned on and meter does read the noise level. With the calibrator on the end of the mic the meter read just over 9 in the 100 db position. With the switch in the battery position it reads only just over 2. I have no instructions or manual for use. This is sold as is and complete with all items shown plus 2 new 9 volt batteries. DC Voltage and current appear to be accurate, as do the internal resistance standards. However our ability to test is limited as the 4708 has much higher resolution than our test instruments. Of course the 4708 should be calibrated before use. AC Volts output has problems. It appears to be accurate on the 10V range. But on the 100V AC range the output may be approximately 1/2 or 1.5 of the indicated value. Hart/Fluke model 9132 IR Calibrator
For your consideration is a functional Hart(now Fluke) model 9132 IR gun calibrator s/n A29097. The calibrator is in good shape physically and electrically with the exception of the usual dings. Sticker residue, and scratches. You will see some pitting on the IR target but it does not seem to affect the readings much if at all. I did a functional check at two temperature set points, 100 deg C and 300 deg C, and my uncalibrated IR gun read within 3 degrees at 100 degrees and within 9 degrees at 300 degrees. The calibrator heated up and cooled down in what seems to be a normal manner. Bear in mind that the calibrator may need calibration. I do not have the resources to verify its full accuracy. Quest model M7-B Noise Dosimeter and CA-32 Calibrator
For your consideration is a Quest model M-7B Noise Dosimeter s/n T4022075 and model CA-32 Sound Calibrator s/n Y4020006. Also included in the auction is the calibrator adapter insert and the molded plastic carrying case. I ran a calibration of the noise dosimeter using the CA-32 as described in the user's manual. The user's manual states that the M-7B readout following the calibration should be between 1.64 and 2.15 with 1.87 being the ideal target value. Genrad Model 1988 Type 1 Sound Level Meter with Calibrator
I acquired this Type one meter from Thompson Audiology in Yakima and it had been very well maintained but Jim has retired now and the new owners of the business told me that they were now using a Type 2 Quest 215 meter without a filter to do background noise studies prior to or while testing. This is a common misconception only a type one meter should be used to check an area before industrial hearing testing or for monitoring background noise. This unit has a built in Octave Filter and has 200 Volt polarization required for some Microphones. The micro phone pictured is not polarized but is flat out to 19K hz.The calibrator included works but needs to be rewired to common 9 Volt battery. This is an integrating SLM with noise exposure feature with noise versus time exposure. Feel free to ask any questions about this meter.

I have separately listed the KAYE Validator 2000 set that was used with it. This system came from a working environment. I am unable to test further than powering it on and it appears to function normally. Per the tag on the LTR-140. The last calibration was November 2005, so it would need to be newly done.
