This is for a Vintage UMCO Aluminum Metal Fishing Tackle Box. Model 1000AS. It is in good used working condition. It has scratches. Scrapes, dings and stains. It was lightly cleaned with soap and water. A light spraying of WD-40 was applied. All the latches and hinges work correctly. Showing no splits,cracks or worm burns- just over all light ware. The hinges, latches and handle work proper. There is 1 ping dent left of the umco tag on top, see Pics) 2 small holes on top that at 1 time probley had a personal name tag attached. The bottom is cork lined and looks very nice. Offering this Vintage UMCO 1000S Aluminum Cantilever Tackle Box from the sixties. This tackle box folds out showing 7 trays on each side. With a total of 70 plastic compartments in good condition– 16 of the compartments have minor worm burns. The hinges are straight and the handle is strong. The box shows normal signs of use but is in very good condition. The unit measures 18" long X 9 1/2" wide X 9 1/2" tall. This box is in good condition. Vintage UMCO corp. aluminum tackle box model 1000AS
Up for bid is this very nice UMCO corp. tackle box. There are no dents or rust. It is in really good shape for the year. There are two rivets. That will need attention. I have enclosed pictures of them. See the last three photos. The last picture is to show how easy it still folds down. But if you want perfect. You will have to fix those two.
