VINTAGE Large 8 Tray Black Possum Belly Tackle Box Cooler-Nice Condition - UMCO?
Up for your consideration is a jet black 8 tray possum belly tackle box/cooler in very nice condition. I own many UMCO possum belly tackle boxes and this sure looks like one but I can't find any markings on it indicating that it is. I picked it up recently at an estate sale. The construction is identical in looks. Shape and quality but I have never seen an UMCO possum belly in black. The trays all have removable dividers to make your own size compartments except for the top left tray which has fixed compartments. It is very similar to the orange UMCO medical boxes sometimes seen which also have removable dividers in the trays. Kind of a nice feature. That being said I can't say for sure it's an UMCO box but it is certainly just as nice from the same era and style.
