It measures 34" X 35" The rayon fabric is a light beige and in one corner depicts Davy Crockett holding his rifle and standing in front of a fort, with his name over his head and the words"Frontiersman, Patriot, Statesman" under his image in brown, yellow and red. Exceptional top quality antique damask"granite" table cloth and 11 matching napkins. The extra long table cloth measures 115" x 79" Central rectangle 30" wide with 4 rows of drawn thread work inside of which are 2 monograms. 35" apart. When holding the cloth to the light I found a pin head hole and a small break in weave(photographed) One cartwheel corner has a loose stitch. Each napkin measures 29½" x 27" and has a 6/8" hem with pulled thread work. Further in 2½" is a double row of thick pulled thread work. The quality of the SC monogram stitching is incredible(see photos) Each is expertly hand sewn satin stitch about 1½" square. Some name tapes stuck on one or two of the napkins. 2400g

Old Lace Table Cloth Linen Trim Pillow Cushion White Cluny Edging Vintage
In this auction I have a fabulous Old Cotton lace edging which is white in colour. The piece is 8 metres long and is an old traditional cluny design. This lace is 3/4" of an inch wide with One bottom scalloped edge and a top straight sewing edge and is used on many linens and cloths. This piece is a polyester version of our normal cotton trim but it does have a nice natural and soft feel to it. We as a family are' Very' proud to be the makers of the lace on Kate Middletons- The Duchess of Cornwalls. Royal Wedding Dress and underskirt. We also made the Trims that were on the Bridesmaids dresses on the collar,cuffs and around the bottom of the beautifully made little dresses. We are a small family run firm which has been making beautiful British laces for over 200 years and are still using the same machines and techniques used ... moreall those years ago. These lace and all my laces are very'vintage' in style.They are made on these old machines and it is the closest you will ever get to handmade cotton lace- made in such a way as to simulate the old fashioned handmade lace. You can see if you look closely in the picture the lace is not completely'flat' as the pattern. In this case, the flower, it is outlined on the surface of the lace. This is the same in all my laces. So, there are two sides to all my laces with the'outlined' side always being sewn uppermost on the object or garment. We are very proud of the laces we still make today and I don't think you will find any better cotton laces in the world. that this lace is NOT flimsy nylon but best quality cotton. All the laces I have listed are still made in England today- by my family of lace manufacturers- Cluny Lace Our company- the last manufacturers of cotton leavers laces in the UK. Pretty Vintage Hand Embroidered Tray/ Table/ Dressing Table Cloth/ Mat VGC This cloth belonged to my grandmother and I believe it was sewn by her- she was a dressmaker. It is in very good condition with no stains or holes. It is really beautiful! The lovely ladder worked edging is finished with blue stitching which makes it really stand out. Two of the corners have beautiful applique and embroidered flowers and the other two corners each have a pretty little embroidered flower. The quality of the needlework is excellent. The cloth measures approximately 24" x 16" Payment is by paypal or cash on collection. Please have a look at the other items I am selling.
