The laminate does have some damage spots on the corners of the table. They are not very noticeable when looking at it. The spots where the laminate is missing can easily be touched up with some black or brown paint to camouflage the damage if desired. It is a type of net lace and I have seen it called Alencon machine lace. True Alencon lace is rare so I am doubting this is true Alencon lace so I am calling it Alencon style lace. It is ecru in color. I can find not breaks in the lace but there is one tiny dark spot near the center on one of the wider pieces and it actually looks like a small pencil mark. You can see it in the detail picture just top and right of the center. I am not a lace expert but I believe this piece to be early 1900's. It was purchased with other textiles of that era. Antique 2 table napkins / towels hand embroidered with F or T 26" square
This are two antique oversized napkins or towels which came from the estate of someone who lived a stones throw from the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport(Cape Cod) everything she had was hand monogrammed- and looks like the letter F or T. Her nephew is almost 80 years old and was going to take her stuff to the dump! They measure 26" square and are selvedge to selvedge top and bottom and appears to be beautifully hand hemmed on sides. The top and bottom is banded in a jacquard scroll. I find no issues with these and consider them to be in excellent condition.
