The tablecloth is filled with lovely flower embroidery work and a small grid pattern around the flowers. The embroidery thread is a shiny taupe color. The tablecloth is finished off with a scallop edge around the 3 sides. Tablecloth Measurement: 36" x 36" approx) The tablecloth has been used however it is in good pre-owned condition with lot of use left. There is thread fraying at the scallop edges of the tablecloth(see photos provided) As well there are two tiny marks both close to the tablecloth edge. Vintage Square Table Cover Tapestry Plush Velvet Wall Hanging Panel Here is a colorful vibrant vintage table runner centerpiece tapestry or wall hanging panel with a lovely floral flower pattern. This table runner/tapestry panel is square in shape and is a soft plush fabric with a nap like velvet. The colors of the table cover make this a perfect table centerpiece for the Christmas holidays. It could be used as a table runner centerpiece or with the appropriate hanging rods added displayed on a wall. The tapestry is soft to the touch and has a plush nap like velvet. When you run your hand across it against the nap it goes to a darker shade. Tapestry Table Runner Measurements: 48" x 49" Table Runner Tapestry Condition: Please read so that you are knowledgeable about the condition of this pre-owned/used item. The tapestry table runner ... morepanel is in good pre-owned c ondition with some faults. On the table runner tapestry there is a small circular bare spot to the velvet pile. It is approximately the size of a pencil eraser and is likely a cigarette burn(see photo 6) Photos 8 through 11 are showing some small wear to the red plush beside the circular band. The fringe was removed and there are tiny holes from where the fringe was punched through(see photo 12) The table runner tapestry's 4 edges will need to be turned under and stitched to reinforce the panel. In the center red area on 1 side. There is some darker shading to the plush. It does not look as smooth as the rest of the table runner tapestry and looks against the nap(see photo 7) There are a couple of fold lines that have created a dark shade line. I do not know if steaming these darkened areas will improve the look however I will leave this for the buyer to complete. When packaging for mailing. The table runner tapestry will have to be folded and this will create creases in the table cover tapestry. Vintage Craftsman or Art Deco Square Brass Tubing Table Lamp
I'm guessing a bit but I believe that this brass lamp. Made with square brass tubing dates from the Arts and Crafts or Art Deco era. The lamp is in original"as found" condition and reminds me of our brass bed which is also made of square brass tubing. Actually the tubing is rectangular, not square. The overall height of the lamp is 28" It is in its original"as found" condition. It takes a globe or shade but I don't have it. The legs span 8.5 x 11 inches. The size of the tubing is approximately 7/8" x 3/8" The top of the lamp shows it's age with a bit of stress fracturing. I've included a picture so you can see for yourself. I am pretty sure it is made of Teak and has nice tapering slender legs that are held on with a wing nut. The top measures about 35 1/4" and does have a very slight curve. The top is reversible from the wooden side to what looks like a black leather side. The leather does have some damage to it. The wood to looks good I tried to get pictures of everything best I could. The legs are solid and the major issues are the light damage near the floor. It could use a little TLC. The leaves measure about 13 7/8" by 34 1/4" each and the 2 leaves and the center part are grain matched. Antique 2 Greek Key Square Footed Base Kerosene Oil Table Finger Lamps
Up for auction is an Identical Pair of Antique Greek Key Square Base Kerosene Oil Table Hand/ Finger Lamps. This identical pair of lamps comes with the burner and wick but no chimneys. The impress Greek Key Design goes around the top of the font and around the square base. Both are embossed on the top of the glass around the brass inside fitter: Patented Sept 19 Nov. 14 1911. The marking is difficult to read but if you look closely you will see it and you can feel it. One brass burner is marked Eldorado WEC Co.on the turn knob. The other brass burner has no markings. Both brass burners need cleaning but work well. This is a very nice looking pair of kerosene oil table finger lamps with a finger or hand held handle that are ready for use. Measurements: One lamp is about 1/8" taller then the other. Lamp one: 4 3/4" tall. Lamp 2 is ... more4 3/8" tall. Each one is about 5 3/4" from end of handle to opposite end of lamp. Square Base is 3/4" tall and 3 1/4" square. Handles are 3 3/4" tall. Condition: Both finger lamps are in good use-able working order. No chimneys and one wick is short. One lamp has a chip at the top of the handle shown in the last 2 pictures. Picture 10 is looking from the top down at the top of the applied handle and picture 11 shows the side view) The handle is very firm but looks like the chip caused a hairline in the top part of the handle. The outside mould line on the handles have tiny fleabites. The burners work well and open as shown in picture 8. Both lamps have the manufacturing air bubbles( one air bubble is shown in picture 9) and straw lines. Please check out my other auctions for more vintage items.
