VINTAGE PYREX CLEAR CRYSTAL 2 QT OVAL CASSEROLE #194 AND COVER
The#194 casserole appeared first in the 1917 catalog. And is one of the early designs with no handles. Dimensions- 9 3/8 x 6 7/8 x 3 7/8 in. inside rim, where the cover rests, has about 3 tiny chips and a bit of roughness around them; the outside edge of the top rim has a small flat chip; no other chips or cracks; scratches encircling the bottom and wear on the foot; some cloudiness in the sides- tried to show that in the second photo; marked on the bottom as shown in the third photo. The cover, also marked 194, is the correct one, but probably not the original- it isn't quite as yellow as the casserole, so possibly from a later production period. Antique Vintage Shabby Oval Beveled Mirror With Ornate Metal Frame
This auction is for an antique vintage oval beveled mirror with an ornate metal frame. The frame measures 12" tall and 9" wide. The mirror is 7-1/2 x 5-1/2. The frame has a light misting of rust on it but all of the decoration is intact. The back of the frame holding the mirror in place appears to be brass. It shows surface scratching. Has a dent in the center, and shows some rust, especially at the top. There are four bars which screw into the frame which hold the mirror/backing in place. There are two loops molded into the frame to hold the wire for hanging. The mirror is hazy around the edges and has marks on the surface, the largest which is shown in the last photo. The mirror is beautiful alone or hanging with a collection of antique mirrors.

THIS ITEM IS IN GOOD USED CONDITION HAS A SLIGHT CRACK IN SIDE OTHERWISE NO OTHER CRACKS. CHIPS, REPAIRS, ETC. Vaseline Glass is a particular color of yellow-green glass that is made by adding 2% Uranium Dioxide to the ingredients when the glass formula is made. The addition of the Uranium Dioxide makes the glass color yellow-green. Vaseline Glass is ALWAYS verifiable by using an ultraviolet light(blacklight) on the glass item. When this is done. The glass turns a bright florescent green! Sometimes. Even the most trained eye can be fooled by a piece of glass that looks like Vaseline Glass, but will not'glow' or fluoresce bright green under a blacklight. Not all yellow-green ... moreglass will turn florescent GREEN when a UV light is shined on it. When manganese is added to the glass formula(which also makes a yellow-colored glass) instead of Uranium Dioxide, for instance, the end product will glow under a black light, but the color is an orange/peach color OR a lime green color that is much fainter than the bright neon green under UV light. 1898 Antique Oval Maple Drop-Leaf Table and 6 Chairs
This versatile and graceful maple drop-leaf table and 6 chairs was purchased at Paine Furniture Company in Boston MA in 1898. I am only the second owner. Having purchased it in 1976 from the original owner. I had the table and chairs professionally refinished and the cane seats replaced in 1979. The cane is still in perfect condition with no breaks or sagging. The table has 5 carved legs and solid brass hardware to secure the table opening. The table top finish has a faint difference in the tone where a table runner had been. The chairs have normal wear but no serious damage. Two chairs have water spots on the wood edge of the seats, which should be easy to fix with a wood tint and polish. The 3 table leaves come with their original upright wood storage crate. Outstanding Large Oval Wood Storage Box NR
Here is a great old oval box that is approximately 16 inches long by about 11inches wide. It stands about 9 + inches tall. I found this at an estate sale and no one knew much about it. The piece has cotter and pin style fasteners that hold the handles and various olther pieces of metal into place. Check the photos out. The top slides off when the pin is taken out of the latch. It is missing it's original pin so I have used a pin of my own that I will include. I honestly do not know it's age but it appears quite old to me. I have never seen one like it before and I have collected for years. It is all wood and has two metal bands which hold the pieces of carved wood in place. It reminds me of how some firkins are held together with bands. This is a large size and is somewhat heavy. The dish measures approximately 13" long x 8 1/4" wide x 2 3/8" tall. It was made/marketed by Villeroy& Boch; it is Microwave safe and'Freezer to Oven' safe. The bottom surface is not glazed, and it has accumulated some small darkened usage marks here and there. DAMAGE: There is a very. Very light discoloration mark where the bottom and side curve together. The stain is approximately 2" long and most of it is so light in color that you have to look closely to see it all; but the right hand end is a little bid darker. The basket is 12 inches long, 9 ½ inches wide, 2 ¾ inches tall at the ends, and weighs 303 grams. The bowl has a c-scroll edge, pierced reticulated panels and a fluted center edge as shown. The basket is monogrammed“HKS” in the center. The piece is marked with the Whiting trademark, STERLING” 3870" and“925/1000 FINE” as shown. Condition on the bowl is fairly good. It is a bit distorted in places. But there are no cracks or breaks in the piercing. A fine piece of Whiting sterling hollowware. I accept most methods of payment; please contact me for details. Art Deco Pyramid No. 610 Oval 9 1/2" Bowl White Indiana Very Rare HTF mouseover to enlarge This dish is pictured in all the Depression Glass Books by Gene Florence and listed as a color made also noted by Warman's books~~Some collector of this pattern disagrees with this fact~~If it is not this pattern it is an exact copy~~It does say Tiara remade this pattern in black only~~So I'm confused and I'm listing it as the 9 1/2" oval Bowl until someone can tell me what it is~~It now was two very small chips on two of the points from removing it and replacing it after an eBayer emailed me and told me it is not this pattern but did not respond to what pattern they thought it was~~It shows rubwear on the bottom.
