In very good condition. There is some loss of gold trim, particularly on the bottom. A few small spots of discoloration around the rim- see photos. A Losolware Keeling& Co Oval Covered Vegetable Dish. Measures about 12" from handle to handle and 7 1/2" in width. CONDITION: Damaged. The bowl portion is in very bad shape-I'm listing this primarily for the lid. There are three large cracks running through the bowl. You can feel the sharp edges of the crack. As they haven't been glued or repaired. It wouldn't take much to shatter the bowl portion. There is also wear to the gold rim and handles. The lid is in great shape with no chips or damage, just some wear to the gold paint on the edges and handle. The pattern on this bowl is the Iroquois-Red that was produced by the company in 1948. The bowl itself is a butter cream color. And has a tribal band of red, blue, and yellow around the top with gold trim on the rim. The bowl is 2" deep and measures 9 1/2" long by 7" wide. The bottom of this piece is marked Cavitt-Shaw Division W.S. George 181A. The pattern and gold show very minor signs of wear, with light utensil marks, and there are no chips, cracks, or breaks. You are looking at a very special large cut glass oval bowl-star on bottom; cut fans on scalloped edges all around(no damage)double crossxcut sides flaring outward from the raised dias oval base.I would like to say it is American Brilliant and could get away with it as it is so bright but doubt verymuch-not enough wear on base etc-so probably mid-century Bohemian or maybe even Irish-the clarity certainly is there. It is approxiamately 11 1/2 long; 7 inches wide and 4 1/2 tall-flaring from a smaller oval foot. I just got the piece last weekend at a Vermont auction and they of course had nothing to add to what I have told you.except it did come from a nice house loaded with nice things? ANTIQUE CUT GLASS CRYSTAL FABULOUS OVAL BOWL Early 1900's Depression Era
This is a beutiful heavy bowl. My grandfather bought this for my grandmother back during the depression. My dad is 86 now and ready to sell it. The bowl measures about 8 1'4" in diameter and about 3 1/4" tall. There is one very small chip on the top of the bowl that you can see in the photos. The chip is very hard to tell unless you run your fingers over it to find. I'm putting a small reserve on this bowl. As I don't know alot about these things. I do know it's from the depression time in the early 1900's. Thank You

This beautiful Shawnee Pottery bowl is about 3.5" tall. 10" long. And 5.5" wide. Made in the USA. But I don't know when. It is numbered 2505 on the bottom. And that's about all I know about it! It is a softer blue in real life than it's photographing. So I will try to take other pictures outside tomorrow. weather permitting) My daughter used it as catch-all for her hairbands and bobby pins. There are a couple of very small rust spots on the inside bottom(again. I'll try to take a better photo soon) where I think a rusty safety pin sat. I dusted the bowl down with a baby wipe.
