Blue and White Stoneware Apple Blossom Salt Crock with Apricot Lid
This is a blue and white salt crock in the Apple Blossom pattern with a lid from the apricot pattern. The base has a diamond background and there are apple blossoms on each side of the"salt" The lid does not look bad with this base but it is not the apple blossom pattern. It is the apricot. This item measures approximately 5 3/4" to the top of the hanger. It is a beautiful piece but it has been loved over the years and well used. The lid has been repaired and has a few chips. The base does have three cracks and hairline cracks that viewable on the backside, lip of the base and the front side of the hanger and inside the base. Please see pictures. What a AWESOME Canister. This is one variety of English storage canisters. This is a large CURRANTS canister. It measures 6 1/2" high to the top of the lid. The lid measures 5 7/8" in diameter. This canister has several stamping a as shown in the pictures. Some appear to be meters and other numbers. I can not make out exact wording. I'm guessing Lovatt& Lovatt. This canister still has its original lid. I have tried to do my best to show all damage in the pictures. The damage appears to be on the rim on the side. It's crack is 3 sided. The lid on top has the crack you can see in the picture. The crack on the lid does go through to the underneath. Also. Under the lid is several chips. Your typical crazing. It measures about 8 1/2" high x 8 1/2" in diam. The gold is at least 95% on the top. Then about 8 5% or more on the middle piece. And probably 65% on the bottom. This is not a scienti fic evaluation-just my observation! It is very hard to find these stackers without some gold loss. The larger bottom piece must have taken the bru nt of the wear. This single handled casserole measures 12" long by 8.5" wide and is 4" high with the lid on. The lid has 2 chips. One chip is only 1/8" but it's on the top edge while the other chip is 1/2" x 1/8" but it's on the underside so it can't be seen when the lid is in place. The casserole bottom has no chips. Cracks, scratches or stains but there is a bit of light crazing on the end of the handle and 2 specks of debris embedded in the glaze on the handle. This adorable little round box was hand painted in England in 1990. In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Franciscan Desert Rose China. It is approximately 4 1/4 inches around and 2 1/2 inches tall. It is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, scratches or crazing. It has an authentication mark on the bottom of the jar and is stamped with a tiny, brown number 8. The underside of the lid is stamped with a brown number 16. This box was a given as a gift to my grandmother who collected Desert Rose China. Vintage Silver Ice Bucket with Heavy Glass Liner and Silver Lid

This is an old Silver Plated heavy ice bucket. It is a 3 piece set including the silver outside pot. Inside heavy glass liner, and silver cover, with handles. Height is 8 in. Width with handles is 9 in. Weight is 4 lbs. There are some cracks on the outside pot, but the glass liner is in very good condition and this could be put to use again. NOTE: The silver pieces posted on this site were"surface cleaned" as they were unpacked. Antique Brown& Tan Canning Crock from the early 1900's This is a fine example of a canning or pickling crock from the early 1900's. It has survived a lot of years and is in nice shape. Size is: 8 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Color is dark brown and tan with a wire bail and wooden handle. The glazing has some surface marks and that is the way it was fired. For sale is a vintage HARKERWARE sugar bowl without lid. This is in the Cocoa Pink coupe style pattern which features a pale pink(or mauve) exterior and an ivory white interior. It is marked on the bottom"USA" but it is very faint and glaze obscured and very difficult to capture in a photograph. This sugar bowl is approximately 3 inches tall to the low part of the rim. 3-1/2 tall to the top of the"wings" and 4-1/4 inches in diameter at its widest point. The capacity is approximately 1-1/2 cups. This vintage piece is in excellent. Near mint, used condition with a nice high gloss. There is very little. If any, visible use marks. There is a small fissure in the clay near where the"wings" connect with the bowl. This is under glaze and was manufactured like this.
