This beautiful and rare Chinese plate has 5 roosters and 2 birdies showing on the plate. It measures 10" in diameter and is made of Vintage Chinese Porcelain. Which looks more like USA stoneware, a very sturdy material. It has writing on the back of the plate which says, This plate was developed from a traditional Chin Dynasty design. It shows that happiness and good luck are on the way. It was hand painted in Macau. I find no chips or cracks anywhere on this beautiful plate.

Here is an inexpensive solution to proper storage of about 1000 mint sheets and plate blocks. This is 10 Gimbels mint sheet files. Each has 24 double glassine sheets. If you wish to store sheets only between the double glassine pages. It will of course hold 24 sheets each. However, you can easily also store between sheets, adding 24 more. Some collectors will place multiple sheets between 2 pages, thus storing hundreds of sheets per file. the plate block album has 16 pages with 6 pockets per page(3 each side) A total of 96 pockets. each pocket will hold 1 to 3 plate blocks depending on the issue. RARE Vintage Fiestaware FLAT Cake Plate Green 10 1/2"
Produced for less than a year(1937) This item was in production for only a few months in 1937 and is extremely hard to find today. This cake plate is not to be confused with the more common Kitchen Kraft version or with Fiesta chop plates. According to the book"Fiesta. Harlequin and Kitchen Kraft Dinnerware" produced by the Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association(page 95) the cake plate was probably in production from about March to late 1937 which accounts for their scarcity today. You can also see this item in Huxfords"Collectors Encyclopedia of Fiesta" 10th edition, on page 37. Completely flat and NEVER marked. The fiestaware cake plate is very rare and very hard to find. The back is covered with concentric rings which can help in identifying it. No major defects.
