Starrett Black Granite Surface Plate 24" X 18" Grade A Inspection 2 Ledge
Starrett Black Granite surface plate. 24" X 18" X 4" thick, with two 2" ledges. This was in a shop environment, and has some marks on it. There are a few visible light scratches, you can feel them with your fingernail, but not running your fingertips across them. There are 2 small chips that can be felt, one is about 1/8" X 1/16" the other is about 1/16" diameter. There are some marks where an aluminum part was rubbed on the plate and left some silver marks, but there is no damage to the surface, it appears some material rubbed off on to the surface. I personally used a dial height gage on this plate, and you could not feel any of the bad spots when using it. This was in a shop that I took over in 2007, I have no idea how long it was there before hand. Please note in the shipping section that this is LOCAL ... morePICKUP ONLY!
