I purchased this straightedge years ago at a flea market. I used it one time- to set up a woodworking jointer. What a pleasure to have the right tool for the job! I never had occasion to use it after that. So I put it on display on the wall of my shop. Not many people know what it is anymore! It is in excellent condition. It has no cracks. And no rust on the working surface. I cannot attest to the accuracy of the working surface, however, as the casting may have changed over time; it may need to be scraped in again for really accurate work. The last time I looked.
