Gently used industrial/commercial initial"e" Can be used outdoor or indoor. I think it is aluminum. It is white but some of the silver is showing thur. Can be repainted or used as is. This came off my family business, it is over 14 years old since the business closed in 2000 and these letters have been stored in my barn ever since. They have been cleaned. Measurements are 15"tall, 14" at widest point, and 2 3/4" deep. Hollow with hangers, it is light enough to hang easily inside. Lot of 21 vintage wooden commercial sign letters. Measuring about 12" with aluminum hanging(channel? hardware on the back of each. They could have come from a store or marquee or some other commercial or industrial signage. Lot includes 21 letters 3 As. 1 C, 2 Ds, 2 Es, 1 G, 1 H, 2 Is, 1 L, 1 M, 1 N, 1 O, 1 R, 3 Ss, and 1 W. They are painted. Original, old paint. They are solid wood, not plywood. Each letter weighs in the range of approximately 6 to 12 oz. for example"I" is 6 oz. G" is 10 oz. They are in quite good vintage original condition and ready to hang. Several of them have an old repair line(glued or a little brad nail) they are all complete. My best estimate is that they are pre-1950, maybe even ... more1940s, due to the crazing of the paint, and their construction and materials, but I am not sure of this.
