This is for a primitive country store paper roll cutter. It is made of iron sides and attached to a wood top. This looks like it should be attached to a counter. Appears to have had a metal pole or rod that would sit in groove to hold paper in place.You will have to find a rod or wood dowel to use. The sides are fancy. The bar is marked Royal in the center Patd May 2080 on the left and 18 on the right. It appears to hold an 18" paper roll. It does not have a bar to hold the paper and there is some staining on the bottom wood piece. There is some rust on the screws and they turn a bit hard but both the screws and the nuts are there. Three of the washers are there but one of them is missing. It will be shipped disassembled. When assembled the base is about 22 1/2" x 5 1/2" and the piece stands about 12 1/2" tall. Springs inside each end, your paper roll can be unrolled to the desired length, then torn off along the cutting edge. This came out of a very old florist that went out of business several years ago.
