Stunning Old Primitive Vintage 15 Foot Long 46 Star Flag Banner Material Piece I have to tell you about the auction that I went to this week. It was in Geneva Illinois. In a sandstone building that was built before the Civil War. The sale was the final liquidation of an antique store(they‘d had one previous auction- so much stuff, they had to have two) that used to operate out of this location- but the building has been closed, as well as the business, for over 20 years following the passing of the previous owners. Now, we’re talking two stories, an attic and a basement PACKED with antiques- it’s hard to imagine, and all of it just sitting for two decades. These folks has amassed a huge antique collection- many many items dating back to the early 1800s and before. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be listing my treasures from the sale. ... moreI will be listing them for weeks to come. I also have the last of my farm auctions and South Dakota finds listed this week, so there’s something for everyone! I sure wish this one could talk! It came out of the auction. So I have no idea how or when it was used- was it a banner? A remnant from a flag company that wasn't cut? I'm calling it vintage in my title, but it has 46 stars on it- and the 46 star flag flew from 1908 until 1913. I can clearly see that it is old, but I have no idea if it is that old, as I've never seen another like it. As you can see from my photos, it really is one long piece of material that has 4 flags on it. It measures 185 1/2" long(that's over 15 feet) in total, each flag being about 46" they are not sewn separately- this is one long piece) and it is 31 1/2" wide. The short ends are unfinished so show minor loose threads and frayng. The long side appear to have weave as such that they do not fray- or threads do not come loose- not a hem, just part of the material as made. I do not know the make up, but it feels like a cotton to me- almost what I'd describe as a light canvas(like a light version of the type of material

These were made for the 1955 Rambler car by Hudson motor company This a really cool one. I found this in a attic of a estate sale about a month ago, The owner told me his father worked for a Hudson dealer. I can not tell if the banner has been used but the stencils and small sign have not been used, they still have the Kraft backing on them. The banner is about 20 ft long and 3 ft high. The area that holds the top has some deterioration at the top rope, I will post a picture. The decals are not perfect and the banner is dirty from mud wasps making a nest. Mimaki JV3-160S with extra ink and banner material
This is an eco-solvent printer that is larger than some motorcycles. I purchased it for cash a while back. And then shortly after that had to store it while some building inspection issues were handled. While it was stored, it was moved(without letting me know) from being plugged in in the office area to sitting unplugged in a warehouse area. Needless to say, this was not good for the ink system, and I'm figuring that unless you get lucky with something like ultrasonic cleaning, you will need new heads. To the best of my knowledge, everything else works fine. It has a power take-up roll, and a vent fan to exhaust any fumes from ink. The eco stuff isn't all that bad though. It printed very nicely when it was working. It has one unopened roll of Peak 13 oz Glossy Solvent Banner. 54" x 120' 1 each Cyan, Light Cyan, Light Magenta ... moreand Yellow sealed Media One 440ml ink carts, and a set of partially used ink carts. Ink carts are all dated 2012. Ink system is currently occupied by some(I would guess) half-full,or lower cleaning solvent carts. If I get back into printing. It is going to be on a much smaller scale, and it is taking up room. Sorry, no software, but I think I can throw in a parallel cable(which is how I used it) or three in hopes one or more will work. I don't need them sitting around here either. It is available for you to pick up(sorry. But no inspections. in St. Louis, Missouri. I do not have a way to put it on a pallet, or a forklift. You're going to need a truck with a lift gate, and/or- a few brawny guys. Or it will fit in your basic enclosed cargo trailer or car trailer, or a long-bed pickup with plenty of straps and tarping. I can help get it from the current storage location to the door, but much beyond that is going to require more muscle than I can manage. Hey, we've got google, so we may be able to figure out a way to ship it. Sorry, we cannot do returns.
