Offered is a pair of beautiful vintage Germany porcelain transfer ware tea strainers. The footed one with rose lustreware detail has the MW Co. Germany back stamp which is a Prussia mark. It measures approximately 5 1/4" long by 4" wide and just under an inch high. The two-piece set features Dresden-style flowers on both the strainer and matching drip bowl. It measures approximately 6 1/4" long by 4" wide and about 1 1/4" inches high. Both tea strainers are in excellent condition with no damage- minor wear to gold and design. FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION TODAY: A very nice Tea Jar or Canister or Tea Caddy. It is Ironstone and decorated with a brown transfer design with some blue as well. It is trimmed in heavy bands of Gold. It is in great shape with the only issue being crazing to the clear glaze and some gold loss around the rim near where the fitted top sits and on the handles. It measures 6 3/4" tall and is 7" across from handle to handle. It is marked Royal Ironstone China. Warranted, with the English Coat of Arms. It has no maker's mark. I just spent quite a bit of time looking at many different Ironstone Marks and this is not exactly like the ones I saw. It is old, of that I am quite sure. Cracks or staining. A few almost unoticeable slight surface scrathes where the pitcher sits in the bowl but you have to look close. Beautiful color and design. The bowl measures almost 15" by 5" tall. The pitcher measures 11" high by 10" across. Any discoloration in the photos is from the camera.
