This is an original Hudson sign from the 40's or 50's in amazing shape. The sign is made of tin and has four holes and about a quarter inch flange where it would have been secures to a rack in the dealership parts and service area to display oils. Polishes, paints and so on to keep your Hudson looking it's best. It's is a single sided painted sign measuring 38 1/4 inches in length and about 13 3/4 inches tall. Is the sign perfect? No. It has scratches and small dings and missing paint but try to find one this nice. Hard to do. So if you're a serious Hudson collector this is a piece you need. The control box has a main power on/off switch, a switch for the pump, a electric meter(which probably works fine but I'm including a true milliampres meter) control knob for electricity output& the power button for your electricity. Pattern material"Nonsbestos" used mainly by neon tubebenders or similar hot glass or ceramic artists. There is at least 40' on this roll which measures 38" in width. Will not burn like paper patterns or bow when using a screen. Drawing implements show up well on this material. Which is similar to that used on ironing boards.
