Very Cool Heavy Metal Vintage Industrial Disk Sign With Letter A Rubor Mark I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and shop with another ebayer seller from out of town recently- a real catfish moment. Because we’ve talked for years, but never met! No surprises, just all fun and did we shop until we dropped! I have lots of very cool items for you that I will be listing all week. Enjoy! Here's a neat one. It reminds me of an old flu cover. But I have no idea what this one was used for. It's a heavy(just over 1/2 lb) metal round disk shape that has a 5/8" lip that runs around the back border and the cut out of a letter"A" on the front. It has a shiny silver finish- not sure what the metal is, but a magnet does not stick to it. The piece is marked on the back, Rubor Pat. Pend. I could not find anything about this company. ... moreThe front is clearly decorative- it has two twisted rope style borders- one thin, one a little thicker, and a hammered/mottled look on the A. It's in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally, with rustic wear to the silver finish- more so on the sides and edges than anywhere(see photo 7) and minor pits and dings. There's one teenie ding on the a, right at the center left of the horizontal cross bar of the letter- you can see it in all my front on photos- it's small. The piece measures 6 1/4" diameter, and then has the 5/8" lip at the back. It shows dust and dirt and could use a good bath. Other than that- it's A O.K.pun intended! Vintage RCA Radio Television Store 50" Lighted Metal 3 Letter Set Sign~Very Neat
For your consideration a vintage RCA sign. Fresh from a local estate. The sign is made of three separate letters. Each letter has a metal case with a lighted plastic front. I am not sure if it still lights properly as there are no plugs on the wiring for me to test it. The screws to secure the fronts to the metal cases are missing. It measures 50" in width spaced as shown in the first picture. Each letter measures about 20" in height by 4 1/2" in depth. Nice set of"Tire Service" 8 inch tall by 1 inch deep letter sign. These all have the mounting tabs and studs still on all of them with nice glossy shine. Can easly be hung with heavy duty outdoor double sided tape or silicone. These came from an old tire repair shop that closed. They are black and some of the letters show a little wear since they where installed on a building at one time. The E has a small hole and a crack that has been repaired(pics 4 and 5) will not be noticed once its hung. They will look great in any shop, garage or man cave. Please ask questions before bidding.

This is a terrific vintage hand crafted Stainless steel letter off an old Pharmacy here in Massachusetts close to Boston. I bought them from a neighbor in his 80's who used to do clean-outs for the family who owned the pharmacy. This is a terrifically sized letter at 10 inches tall X 6 inches wide at it's widest point. The letter is self is 1.5 inche deep. But has several mounted screws the reach 3.5 inches deep. These screws are welded but easily removed with a pair of pliers and a little elbow grease. This is a great large letter R metal cast alluminum. It is 6.25 Inch in diameter with a.5 Inch tall round lip to attach to something. This very beautiful piece is cast alluminum and looks like it may have been painted white at one time but now shows mostly the silver alluminum. It is my best guess that this was part of an outside door or gate at one time or another. It is in good condition and will work well for decoration. Vintage Letter N, aluminum Sign Letter from the 60's or 70's
This is a terrific vintage aluminum letter off a television production studio here in Massachusetts close to Boston. The material is 1/4" thick. And the posts on the back make the whole piece aprox 1.5" thick. Please see photos to determine exact sizing of each letter. These posts are welded but easily removed with a pair of pliers and a little elbow grease. There is also the residue of an adhesive on the backs of some of these letters.
