Exquisite antique Art Deco Period French Sterling dress clip prong set with very intricately carved red coral glass oak leaves and acorns. Accenting all the beautiful glass are sparkling old paste diamonds. All are present and original. Stamped into the clips. Closure is MADE IN FRANCE along with 2 lovely old French Silver hallmarks. Vintage Art Deco Essex Crystal Fishing Fly Cufflinks Patent 449790 & Tie Clip
This is a pair of vintage art deco fishing themed cufflinks and Stratton tie clip in gold coloured metal. The cufflinks have a very realistic little fishing fly encased in what I believe to be Essex crystal on he fronts and on the reverse is stamped'MADE IN ENGLAND IMITATION PAT449790' the patent I think relates to the extending chain which is somehow sprung on the inside. The tie clip has a reverse carved and painted fish leaping over water and is signed STRATTON'S IMITATION MADE IN ENGLAND on the reverse. The cufflinks measure approx 5/8ths of an inch diameter and the tie clip measures approx 2& 3/4 inches long. They are in very good vintage condition although the metal surrounding the crystal on the cufflinks has tarnished a little- I'm sure this could be polished off. But I will leave that to the buyer. Beautiful DEMI Parure Set- this is for the necklace and the matching clip on earrings. The rhinestones are just beautiful and not often come by, often called"iris or rainbow glass" ~ you can see the colors of clear, pink, blue and green in the glass, very unique and nice set. The metal is overall silver tone though there is some vintage wear, clip on earrings are well made and hold tight- tested, all rhinestones present on this circa 1930's era set. I have mostly only found this glass in small crystal art deco era dangle necklaces or small victorian brooch pins. The earrings are quite large clip on earrings measure just about 2"L and over 3/4" at the widest.
