It was made in the 1950s to 1960s for Coppercraft Guild of Taunton Massachusetts. It's 13 inches diameter by just under 1-1/2 inches high. The copper rail is nice and shiny, the black faux leather textured vinyl is in clean condition with no scratches or nicks. Here is the Black& Decker logo from something of theirs I bought and used in the past. I kept this sticker because it was kind of neat. It measures about 3 3/8" long. About 1" tall, and it is about 1/16" thick. It had what appears to have been double-sided sticky material to adhere the logo to the object- it was sticky and messy. I cleaned that off with some Goo Gone. And it now can be held in the hand without sticking. The logo is not perfect. But it still looks pretty good. No prominent pits or scratches. Each time I touch it, I have to clean the fingermarks off, so I keep it in a plastic bag. If you are a B&D collector. You'll like it. Note: shipping is by lettermail. Well made, sturdy item. It stands approximately 33 1/2" in height, 14 1/2" in width, and 25" in depth(with steps extended) On the top of each metal step is rubber tread(different tread on each step) that is in very nice condition with only extremely minimal wear, but no tears and not coming loose. Steps smoothly and securely fold in and out. Black vinyl is in very nice shape with only extremely minimal surface wear. There are a few little nicks in the material but these are not spreading at all and some do not even go all the way through the material. On the front of the vinyl on the right there is a 1" slit but this is not spreading ... moreand is even hard to notice because the underlying material is also black. Chrome is also in excellent condition with only extremely minlmal surface wear- no rusted out spots or loose welds. Rubber feet on all six legs. Travel back in time with this awesome ottoman footstool. I have never seen one like this. Not only is it a footstool/hassock/ottoman. But( it opens up to house a 12" record album rack inside. It is very cool. Measures about 15-1/ wide and 16-1/2" tall. There is some wear on the black vinyl, but it is still in quite good condition. The original label on the underside identifies it as being manufactured in Mount Vernon, New York. I would guess it is 40 or 45 years old. I've bought and sold lots of vinyl record racks, but this one is the coolest. You can sit on it, put your feet up on it, and stash your records in it. Questions?
