This was once electrical and still has the fixture inside. With a switch on the light holder, and a switch on the bottom. The old wires are still connected. I believe the very top part that is connected to the round hook is made of brass. On the back, it has a place where it can be hung up, or by the ring on the top. I cleaned the blue lense some to make sure it doesn't have cracks or chips, which I did not find. It's actually made to hang in a corner. It does need a good cleaning. I see no evidence of rusting on the outside, only where the light holder is screwed into. FANE VINTAGE 12" HEAVY DUTY 50 WATT SPEAKER AWESOME
VINTAGE FANE 12" 8 ohm cast frame speaker that is either a 40 or 50 watt model due to the size of the magnet and the label. It is in great condition as you can see in the pics. With only minor wear to the frame and mounting gasket. This speaker has only been used enough to break it in and start sounding good. These speakers are well known for their smooth early break up and creamy distortion. This is the Heavy Duty model 12232 with a 010 002 cone code making it a 1974. I used it in a 2x12 cab with another Fane 8 ohm also listed on ebay and what an amazing tone. Fane were used in many vintage amps including Hiwatt. Selmer, Orange, Vox and Sound City. Many Guitar combos and Guitar speaker cabs in the 60s& 70s were virtually only ever fitted with Fane. Fane are probably the 2nd most well know British Speakers the world over and some ... morepeople would argue they are the most well known. Fane guitar speakers helped make the History of Rock sound. Think the Who, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, etc. Hear a Hiwatt. Orange, Laney or Sound City& hear Fane! Fane are some of the best vintage Guitar speakers money can buy and are equal in quality& tone to any Pre Rola Greenback Celestion. I honestly say this being a true Die Hard Celestion Greenback fanatic. They are harder to find in the Vintage age range than vintage Celestions. This is a very Large set and combined weight is about 12lbs+. White with brown outlines and edges and burnt rose flowers. Very pretty and well tqaken care of. The pitcher is 11" tall and 9" at the widest. The bowl is 15" across and about 5 1/2" deep. They will take a very large box to ship. Or if needed and cheaper, 2 boxes. Remenber any overages quoted in the S&H price will be refunded to you. Shaped alittle differently than most others the pitcher has very nice curvy shape to it as does the bowl. Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. 12 HEAVY FRENCH SILVER DINNER FORKS Late 1700s Presented is a set of 12 heavy silver dinner forks made in France in the mid- to late-1700s. These were made before the French Revolution of 1789. These forks are all made in the French 950 purity silver(a slightly higher purity than sterling silver) They are decorated with a beautiful shell pattern on the top and elegant threading. The undersides of the handles are monogrammed with the intertwined initials G and A in two different styles. Which correspond to when they were made. The initials were almost certainly for someone who had a title. Six of the forks date from the 1750s, and six date from 1783. On the earlier forks, the monograms are surmounted with a knight's head, and on the later forks, the monograms are surmounted ... morewith a crown. It appears that in the time between the 1750s and 1783, the person with initials GA may have risen in rank, and the different monogram style or crest may reflect this. Each fork is marked on the underside with a number of marks. This is expected in French silver items. Some of the forks have marks that are difficult to decipher. So we have selected the best examples from our lot to photograph. The older 6 forks are mark with the crowned ornate A with a trumpet left leg and feathered right leg for the Paris charge mark used between 1783-1789, a crowned U with a tiny lightning bolt inside for the maison commune date mark for 1783, a mark of a little ewer, and a crowned fleur de lis with two points over the maker's initials CL and a cross for the maker's device. The earlier 6 forks are marked with the crowned A with feathery legs for the Paris charge mark used between 1768-1774, a crowned L for the maison commune date mark for 1774, a mark of a little cow, and a crowned fleur de lis with two points over the maker's initials NC and the maker's device. The maker's device is not fully discernible on all 6 forks and looks like a flame or leafy

There is a snap clasp and a full length hinge. The clasp and hinge are tight and work as new and the side is marked"900 and a makers mark S inside a triangle" It also is stamped PA. It is in very good condition with no scratches or dents. It does need polished and there is a mark from a sticker that was on it for years. It will clean off.
