I put a package on it and the weight matched a new digital scale I have. It is in good condition The dial is clear with large numbers. It has a large area for placing packages weigh which is approximately 13” x 11” I checked the weight mechanism by weighing a package on my new digital scale and then weighing it on this scale. The dial showed the same weight so apparently it is still working correctly. The handle is bent and can prob be bent back. The adjustment knob is on the side for adjusting the scale. There is a lock lever to lock the scale during transport. I never charge extra for shipping. Happy Bidding!

Antique Pelouze 16 oz. postage scale for 3 cent letters.
The"Crescent" is 3 1/2" tall. 3 1/2" deep and 2" wide. The spring and spring adjustment still work. The bottom shows 4 patent dates-the last being May 26, 1903 with a patent pending.
