This is a lovely old item for the KOSB collector. It is an authentic. True scale, replica of a ceremonial drum used by the King's Own Scottish Borderers regiment in the form of an ice bucket. This regiment is no longer a single regiment in its own right but is now part of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. The detailing& quality is extremely good. It is decorated one side with the KOSB badge in glorious colour- complete with details of all the famous battles the regiment fought from 1695 to 1952. Opposite side is adorned in gold- as per the original authentic regimental drum. As you can see from the photographs. The drum even has white cords attached- as per the true regimental drum. Vintage O&S Scale American Flyer Oil Drum Loader OB Made in USA
Up for auction today is the Oil Drum Loader by American Flyer. Made f or the O& S gauge model train. My dad was a train enthusiast since he was a kid. Eventually collecting quite a nice layout. Every Christmas he would spend weeks putting all the trains, towns, mountains, tunnels, etc, together. He passed away 30 years ago and my mom has had everything boxed and put away all this time. Now I have all these things and have been recalling all these fond memories for 6 months. I finally knew that I wanted the collections to go to someone who would enjoy them like my family did. I don't want everything to continue to be boxed in a cupboard. So I'm getting all of this together(mostly O& S guage) We all called the little man on the loader'Louie' Number 779 Oil Drum Loader is from 1955-56. The drums are loaded in the rack ... moreand then when you turn it on. The fork truck gets the first drum out of the rack and then turns and loads it into your awaiting car and then goes back for the next drum. It measures 6 inches x 8 1/2 inches x 9 inches. Louie the loader is in great shape. And although I do not know how to test it I have no doubt that it works. It was taken care of very well and packed away very well. Please see all photos. Up for bid is a used but well maintained. Perfectly functioning Behmor 1600 coffee roaster. This is nearly identical to theBehmor 1600 plus, but has a lighter, more efficient chaff tray. Compared to the newer model, this one can heat up quicker due to the lighter thermal mass of the chaff tray, giving you more consistent roasts. This was purchased in 2009 and used lightly for a couple years before going into a box in the basement. It is incredibly easy to use and you can even roast inside. Be the envy of all of your friends and coworkers! Due to my roommate being a food scientist who did work in the coffee industry. I was able to try out a few different home coffee roasters that included Nesco coffee roaster and the more expensive Gene Cafe Coffee roaster.
