Vintage Small Salter Postage Scales
These scales for weighing letters/post were made by Salter in England and stamped No 18D. The weight is in ozs– 1/3 oz to the left. ¼ oz to the right. The green metal has a few worn spots at the corners of the feet but otherwise in generally good condition with a few marks here and there. The dish has a bit of staining. The scales dismantle into three pieces. They stand approx 4.25 inches high and the diameter of the dish is 5 inches. The scales are working. But I do not know how accurate they are. I will be happy to give a refund for a genuine reason and if the article has not been used/damaged by the purchaser. I will gladly give more information on any article on request.
