This auction is for one very vintage Fly Tyer's free standing vise plus a vintage leather pouch with 6 lambs wool sections for holding tied flys. The pouch measures 6-1/2" X 3-1/2" X 1" thick. This will fit in a shirt pocket, condition is very good, has two snaps working well. The fly tying vise is solid steel, measures 7" tall, base measures 3" X 1-1/2" this weighs 3/4 pound. The paint used to be yellow and green, most has worn off, as you can see the fly in the grip, the vise works well. Fantastic Bin, Rolling Vintage Industrial Storage Machine Age Steampunk Cart
Fantastic find from garment factory. Small mobile storage. Basically an 18" cube on wheels. Great industrial green color, heavy"waxed" fiberboard. Incredibly strong and light. Metal edging around open top perimeter. Rivets down side.Signed by maker as shown in pic. This is vintage so definitely shows signs of use. Rolls well! Clean- no grease or industrial residues. These were always used for fabric. I have several so let me know if you need more than one. They make GREAT side tables if you want to repurpose them. Add glass or weathered wood for a top! Antique mission style. Arts and crafts solid wood bookcase. All the style and craftsmanship of the Mission era as it is an original from that time. Original very dark burgundy paint. There are some flaws in the paint but it would be nice stripped or repainted. Stands straight and tall. Excellent size and height at 36 inches tall by 8 1/2 wide by 18 inches long. Vintage L.L. Bean Fly Fishing Rod W/ Aluminum Storage Case
I received this wonderful L L Bean two(2) piece fiberglass fly fishing rod as a gift in the late 1970s. It has moved with me ever since. The rod has never been used once. It has never had a reel mounted on it and is virtually new. The storage tube shows some light wear from being stored all these years. The rod and cloth cover are perfect. It still has its product registration card though the staples are a little rusty. I believe it is the Angler model. On the rod itself there is the LL Bean logo and 9' for5/6 line. Just a great vintage fly fishing rod that would be fun to own.

Delightful vintage wicker hamper/basket~Versatile & characterful storage
T his charming old woven basket is a great size for use as a side or bedside table– plenty of storage space inside and plenty of character on the outside. The details. I`m not sure what the basket was originally intended to hold– it is rather like a large version of a fishing basket or a small version of a laundry hamper. Not that it really matters! The condition remains strong. Sound and ready to use with just the odd whiskery frayed bit. The two little buckled closures at the front of the lid are original but the white strap on top of the lid has been added at some point– I am guessing that there was a woven looped handle on the top when new. You could remove this later addition of course and I doubt you`d miss the handle. Please take time to look at all my pictures and mouse over them for a very close view– they form part of my description. ... moreMost of the items that I list aren`t perfect but are uniquely aged– and all the better for this! If you prefer shiny new things that anyone and everyone can find on the high street then my items probably aren`t for you. The measurements. This is a Japanese shamisen bought in Kyoto at an antique auction. The skin on both sides are in very good condition. In fact everything seems to be in very good condition. The only exception would be the two bridges that have a little damage on the bottom edges. You can see this in the close up photo# 4. We think they are made of horn. We think the body and neck are made of rosewood. The box has been decorated on the inside lid with a sumie brush painting of a bat flying with the moon overhead. Up for sale is this vintage Monarch finer foods jar. This was a part of the vintage soda bottles collection I sold last week. It is absolute great shape. It has no chips or cracks! Measures 8 1/4" tall by about 6" wide. It has lost its lid somewhere along the last 70 years. The only thing I see is some light water-oxidation lines inside the jar(like a faint wavy film inside) Only thing I did was wipe her with a wet rag so this might come off somehow! Please take a close look at all pics and zoom in! Just very minor scratches throughout. Front shows an embossed lion head and reads Monarch Finer Foods. Fountain Pen Storage Chest No. 8 - Vintage and Unique
If you collect fountain pens. Then you have an investment that is worth protecting. If you collect vintage and antique fountain pens, why not store and display them in a fashion worthy of their distinction? Every chest I produce is a one-of-a-kind vessel that is between 40 and 80 years old. These are not assembly line– made in China boxes that you can find in office supply stores and sell for more than I charge for these. I repair and refurbish each box completely by hand. The interior of the boxes are replaced with a custom built system designed for the storage and display of fountain pens. The finishing touches to the interior include a padded interior cover and a custom built slotted base for protection of the pens. Both of which are covered with faux suede. The exteriors are completely stripped of all finishes and hand sanded to fresh ... morewood working through stages with varying grits of sandpaper. I use my own variation of the French polish process to finish the chest with shellac and polyurethane. I won’t go into detail on the French polish process, but it is used on guitars. You can see this process on Google. Needless to say, this procedure is done by hand and extremely laborious. You can literally see yourself on the surface of the finished product. Finally, the original brass hinges, handles, etc. are restored or replaced with new. This container is a Schmitt box. The Schmitt box was invented by P. Jerome Schmitt. A priest, who was born in Neuhausen, Wurtemburg, Germany in 1857. Father Schmitt was one of the premier entomologists of his time and designed this style of box to be built to extremely close tolerances and intended for permanent storage of valued insect specimens as it is virtually air tight to keep predator insects from attacking the collection. These are the real deal and a Schmitt box of this quality would cost $55 to $70 today depending on where you buy it even if you can find one. Cardboard Schmitt boxes will run you $40.00. This is a BIG old school bus. No makers mark or date. The style of the bus is vintage, maybe 40s or 50s? This cookie jar is in excellent used condition with a few minor chips. Antique Vintage Stoneware Storage Crock from late 1800's
Up for auction is 1 antique crock This crock is dark gray and is in really good shape. No cracks or chips. I picked this up at a local auction. The top rim has some black color to it which may be grease. But doesn't feel like it. The crock may have been made that way, but I'm not sure. See X engraved on bottom.
