You are bidding on a set of vintage metal lockers. They date back to the pre-war era. This was manufactured by the LYON METAL PRODUCTS INCORPORATED in Illinois. This locker set measures approximately 36"W x 12”D x 66”H. The interior of each cubby is about 11"W x 12"D x 10"H. This set has 15 locker cubicles. Each locker features a numbered brass plate. Door pull with locking mechanism and brass spring hinges. Please note. Two of the 15 doors are missing the door pulls as you can see in pictures. This set of lockers is obviously old and shows signs of wear and rust. It's in need of some TLC! We will leave all cleaning up to the winner bidder. Up for auction is a bank of 8 vintage Lyon Metal Products 2 tiered lockers. These lockers have been painted. Possibly more than once over the years. The handles and locker number tags have been painted over too. All of the doors open and close as they should. There is a good bit of surface rust on the lower tier of lockers. The 2 lockers furthest left. Where added on at some point, and are numbered 59 and 60, while the other 6 are numbered 1-6. Apparentyly 59 and 60 were missing a side, and a piece of sheet metal was added. If the corners were trimmed and the lockers painted, it wouldn't be nearly as obvious. The lockers measure approximately 56 1/2" tall from the bottom of the legs to the top. And 48 1/4" wide. The door openings are approximately 28 1/2" x 10" Lots of patina here. Hello.This is for local pick-up only in Burbank,IL 60459! This listing is for a set of vintage metal industrial lockers made by Lyon. I believe these are from the 1940`s.And possibly have a military origin,as you can see the original army green paint under the top layer. This is a really cool set of lockers. All of the compartments have lock cylinders on them,and are keyed alike. I have(2) of the original keys. The tall compartments on either side have a rod across the top to hang your coat on. There are a few small dents on the unit.Nothing serious. There is some rust inside the bottom of the tall compartment on the left,that is shown. The rest of the lockers are all very solid. This is a really unique set with a great look to them. They measure 78-inches tall.54-inches wide,and 21-inches deep. These are being listed on behalf of the YMCA to help defray building decommissioning and clean out costs. We do not have the time. Staff or resources to split this lot up and ship in in smaller lots. The original stacks are 1 Door wide x 5 Doors high. We have 100 of these stacks = 500 Doors Each Door has ... morea combination lock. We do have the original list with all combinations as well as a second master number that works on them all. HOWEVER. We have not tested nor will we test all of the lock operations. These stacks of lockers are currently attached to other stacks in runs of anywhere between 10 and 25 stacks long. They are attached with very narrow and light grade machine bolts and nuts. Not sure of the exact size(maybe 1/8 by 3x4 bolts. But that’s a guess) I would highly suggest the winning bidder disassemble stacks with a pneumatic or electrical chisel- knocking off the thin gauge bolts and nuts. These are used–older-vintage lockers and the condition is as follows: The outsides actually held up well in the original dull beige paint-with the expected occasional scratches and minor dents. The insides of the lockers did not have the same paint treatment as the outside and do have surface rust on shelving. Sides and bases. 95% + of the original LYONS NUMBER TAGS are in place. 95% + of the doors are completely operational as is but would benefit from oil and a tweak of locking clasp here and there. Set of 16 metal lockers. Each locker is lockable with a seperate pad lock or combination lock(locks are not included with this sale) Lockers are dirty and a bit beat up from use over the years. The lockers were used for employee's personal belongings and to lock up expensive tools. These lockers could be cleaned and painted and be used in a gym or school.

SET OF 18 METAL SCHOOL/WORK LOCKERS- IN NICE SHAPE! Set of 18 tan colored Lyon brand metal lockers Each locker measures approximately 12 inches across. 12 inches deep, with a height of 64 inches. There is a shelf inside each locker and each locker is able to be locked however locks are not included in the purchase. There is also a hook in each locker and they are numbered on the front. Lockers are in very good condition without any major flaws. There is some minor rusting on the inside but nothing that would affect there usage. They also could use a good cleaning. As you can see in one of the pictures. There is also some discoloration on the front of the locker from where the lock was used. This item is local pickup only near the south suburbs of Chicago. IL. I bought this at an auction of a closing high school from the the former shop class about 20 years ago. I used it while remodeling my home. It has not been used at all for about 10 to 15 years. I'm about to do some remodeling in an old theatre attached to the back of our restaurant-It might come in handy or it might just be"in the way" You will decide. If it sells.I'll have more room.
