Vintage Hamilton Metal Medical Dental Storage Cabinet 1930's-1940's Industrial
For auction is one vintage metal medical/dental storage cabinet from the 1930's or 1940's. Made by the Hamilton Manufacturing Company. It is in excellent original condition. It is painted a slightly ivory white, and is free of major scratches or dents. It has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed and detailed. Beautiful metal pulls with black enamel trim. The black top is wood with a black paint or lacquer. There is a spot on the backsplash where there are some permanent spatter marks that can only be seen in a certain light. There is also a faint stain in the surface about a couple inches across(see photo) There is some mild wear to the paint and metal surfaces(on the black base, most noticeably) and a large stain on the bottom of the cabinet inside. Pictures show a representative storage cabinet. With this auction you will get 2 of these. These items are used and were pulled out of a hardware store. They were originally used in the hardware store to hold screws. Nuts, bolts, etc. There is no hardware included with these storage bins, the bins themselves are empty. I have several of these available, and each look similar to the one in the photo. All of them are in good condition, but do show signs of use. Each has labels on the drawer, but those are stickers that can be removed or covered up with your own labels. They may have some other markings, scratches or be a bit dusty. The bin is grey metal and measures approximately 13 inches tall, 12-3/4 inches wide and 16-1/4 inches deep. I found this metal 4 drawer tool or parts cabinet at a yard sale but it was missing a drawer. So I made one out of wood and used part of a window latch to make a drawer pull. Please note in the pictures it has some paint splatters on it, lots of scratches and there is a coat of something on top that I left there. I have sealed this with a sealer and thought it added to the character of the piece. I think it l ooks good enough to use it in the house! For your consideration is this great vintage Akro-Mils industrial cabinet with 18 plastic drawers perfect for storage of smalls and tools and craft items. This is in great vintage condition with minimal surface wear and a great steely look. There are some rust spots and some discoloration to the finish-but it is in pretty good condition for the age. The drawers all need to be washed. I only washed the top of it to show the Akro label. There is a nick in one of the little drawer handles. The drawers all slide pretty well with a little wobbly sliding here or there and have dividers in them. This measures 10X6X9 All of my items are sold as found unless otherwise stated. Pine Armoire Media Chest Storage Cabinet
A Beautiful and well crafted Armoire from Thomasville. It is part of their Impressions group. It has been used to hold a 42" TV and smaller TV's. The measurements are approx. 42" width. 61" high, 19" deep. Main part has hinged doors and shelf inside that is sectioned into three parts underneath. There are also two drawers. It has some inner scratch marks from the bigger TV. On the outside there are a few marks(see pic's) But overall it is in very good condition. Antique OAK CYLINDER RECORDS PHONOGRAPH STORAGE CABINET CHEST EDISON COLUMBIA 80
This auction is for an original solid oak wood cabinet made in the early part of the 1900's and was used for cylinder record storage. You would set your Edison pnonograph on top and then the cylinders inside. The cabinet/chest has four pull-out shelves with metal cross clips that hold the cylinders in place. Can hold 80 cylinders. Has all the original hardware. Including the front handle that works as it should. Overall condition is very nice for its age. Has some normal wear from age. A couple top edge nice as seen in the photos. One of the legs has some wear to the finish and can easily be oiled to make this go away. No damage cracks, has two small cracks on the back panel what appear to be original to the wood, very sturdy, no repairs, finish is very nice with some minor scratches on top, nice color and all the shelves pull out as ... morethey should. Has all the metal clips and one needs to be re-attached with a nail, but is there(see last photo and is the upper rear right one) The cabinet measures 30" tall, 14 1/2" wide and 17 1/2" deep. Beautiful Ceramic Tiled Medicine Storage Cabinet " After the Bath " by Paul Peel
This cabinet is absolutely gorgeous! I bought this a long tome ago when we were planning on building our home. We bought the land. But the home was never built. We are selling our property and moving to Alaska. So, we do not need this cabinet. The tile has the famous"After the Bath" scene painted by Paul Peel in the late 1800's. I cannot find any similar tiles for sale on any web site. The tiles are a set. Each tile having 1/6th part of the painting. Each of the 6 individual tiles is 6 inches by 6 inches. The front of the cabinet is 20 inches by 13 3/4 inches. The actual cabinet(without the door) is 18 1/2 x 13 1/2(outside dimensions) with a 3 1/2 inch depth. Adding the door frame makes the total depth 4 inches(inside dimension) when opened. I am unsure what the wood the door frame is made from. It looks like walnut. The inside ... morehas holes to allow shelves to be adjusted as needed. There are no shelves included. I was going to make glass shelves, but a simple wood slats would work just fine as well. This item is heavy due to the ceramic tiles. If the buyer just wants the tiles. I can remove the door from the cabinet and send that. But I am not going to try to remove the tiles from the door.
