For sale is a unique metal box/crate. Could be for a Military or Vehicle part. About 6 1/2" by 6 3/4" and 3 3/8" tall this all metal with wood liner box does have some funky looking paint spots(unsure of the origins) but is a great looking piece ready for many uses. Weighs around 5 pounds and will fit in a Medium Flat Rate box for shipping($10.00 discounted rate) There is stencilling on top and all sides in part showing that this box once held a" BUSHING" of some sort. Not sure if this is military or a company product. Does have some rusting and paint wear. Lid has to be pushed down to close but seals properly. Handles on both side are solidly attached. VINTAGE JAPAN jar canister lid storage set 1763 Mariners Inn 1777 Horse Tavern
Set of vintage pottery canister jars with their original lids in graduated sizes. This is truly a remarkable find! Rarely do any of these pieces come up for sale. And you will probably never find these 3 all together again! They are also in collectible condition with the only cosmetic wear being natural crazing from age in the glaze. There are no chips or cracks or damage anywhere that I can see on any of the pieces. I am amazed they are no damaged after all these years! The smaller jar is 5.25" tall and it says"1763 Mariner's Inn" on the side with the picture of a lovely old sea vessel with 3 masts. The middle size jar is 6.5" tall. And says"1777 Horse& Tavern Inn" with the picture of a gentlemen riding a horse. The large jar is 7.5" tall. And says"1802 Eagle's Inn" with the picture ... moreof a spread wing eagle clutching a shield, laurel, flag and arrows. This is a lovely set. Even better in person. Measuring just over 20 1/2 inches tall by 6 7/8 inches inner rim to inner rim by approx. 8 1/4 inches outer rim to outer rim by 48 inches in circumference and 8 3/4 inches across the base. This piece is obviously hand formed with deliberate incised markings and textured utilitarian finish. Color is a red brown with thin almost transparent drip glaze. Condition of this piece is very good having no cracks. Resonates nicely and shows only one what might be a flake chip to upper rim and some roughness at base that is original to the piece. For sale is a Hohner Chromonica III Model#280. 16 hole harmonica in the key of" C" with a range of four octaves. This harmonica is the same as the Hohner 280/64 Model, but was made for sale on the German market.This harmonica is unrestored, all original. The wood comb, slider and reed valves are all in very good condition, but it could probably use a tune up just because of it's age. The cloth hinge on the red box that it come in has let go due to age, but can easily be repaired with a strip of cloth tape. The latch still closes securely. This harmonica is in great condition overall, and would make a nice addition to any harp players collection. Thanks for looking.
