This is a vintage set off 3 old bakelite drawer pulls with brass colored hardware spacers and original screws. Metal has not been cleaned. Each measures 2 7/8" long with the screws centers at 2" apart. Rounded handles. Just a little over 1/2" diameter, beautiful color. One side is shaded darker than the other side. Tested. Antique- Gothic Medieval LION HEAD (2) Drawer Pulls & CLAW FEET (2)
This is a beautifully detailed. Antique set of 2 matching Lion head drawer pulls and 2 matching claw foot front corner feet. They are cast from a mold, made of heavy metal. There are some areas on the metal that shine with a yellowish color like bronze(See pictures. The items do not appear to have ever been painted and have crisp and clear details. Each pull is approximately 3 inches long. 2 1/4 inches wide with a screw that protrudes 1 1/4 inches beyond its back edge. Each claw foot is 2 3/4 inches along each side, and 3 1/4 inches across. The claw foot is 1 1/2 inches at its tallest, and lifts whatever it is connected to about 1/2 an inch higher. They are a substantial weight at 4.9 oz per lion head and 3.3 oz per claw foot. These items probably date back to the mid 1800's. We salvaged these pieces from a worn box found in the attic ... moreof a house built in 1900. Vintage ceramic drawer pulls knobs country folk art pattern blue & red on cream
Here are 6 old ceramic drawer pulls. They measure 1 1/4 inches across and a bit less than 1 inch deep. Not including the screws. They are a creamy white with a circles and starburst pattern in navy blue and red-orange that looks sort of Pennsylvania Dutch-ish, very country folk art looking and I think very attractive. The design looks hand-painted to me; there are slight variations. I got them secondhand so I don't know how old they are or what they came off of, but if I had to guess I would say they were from somewhere between 1920 and 1960, although the screws don't look ancient so 1940's-1950's is more likely than 1920's-1930's. They are in good condition with no breaks or chips, but they could use a cleaning which I will leave to the new owner. For the most part, the pattern is bright and unworn, but it's a ... morelittle worn on a few of them, but even those still look good. Two Antique U.S Army Shaving Stands with Tilt Mirror and Drawer still with
Here we have a lot of TWO very. Very nice antique original non restored, official regulation United States Army dresser shaving stands with swivel mirrors. These nice pieces of furniture were standard in every bachelor officer quarter's(BAQ) on Army reservations during the early to later part of the last century. I know that these pieces are authentic and were used as stated because I served in the U.S. Army( reserve and active duty) for just two months shy of 40 years and I purchased these when I was a young Lieutenant. At which time the Army removed them(DX'ed) from service and sold them to interested soldiers and antique dealers who wanted them. Apparently, the Army reasoned that young soldiers like me no longer shaved like the old timers did and so they decommissioned them along with all the beautiful wooden desks, but that's ... moreanother story. C hange in living accommodations necessitates sale. These stands were made under government contract to U.S. Army specifications by the B.P. John Furniture Manufacturing Company and the mirror was made by the Hagemann Company of Cincinnati Ohio and mirror states"We guarantee this mirror"A" quality as specified in commercial standards CS-27-36 Issued by U.S. Department of Commerce. The original stampings on the back and the decals on the mirrors are still intact and visible. The Dressers are made of 100 percent solid wood and the drawers are quality made with tongue and grove construction. One piece has a slight chip on it's back veneer and is not visible when viewed from the front and should be easily repairable. see 2nd picture) The mirrors are in excellent shape and have no cracks or discoloration. Each stand with mirror measures approximately 26" high. 19" wide and 7" deep. The base of the stand measures approx. 19" wide, 3.5" high and 7" deep. VINTAGE HAMILTON PRINTERS TYPE SET DRAWER / TRAY - 108 SLOTS - GREAT PATINA
If you are looking for that nice primitive tray with a great patina to start putting your collectibles and small knick-knacks in. Then this tray is for you. This tray is just over 32" wide and 16 5/8" high and about 1 1/2" in depth. This tray has 108 different size slots, usually these trays have between 89 and 93 slots which makes this one a little more unusual. The different size slots were larger for vowels and got progressively smaller for consonants, numbers and punctuation marks. The great patina shows off the trays age and use. It has been well used over the years but has withstood the test of time. It is structurally sound. The only problem is a small piece of wood on one of the slots is missing or broken off which I pointed out in the last photo. Will probably need cleaned up a little to your liking. This listing is for a 1830 Empire Style Mahogany Shaving Mirror with drawer. It is in very good condition with a nice patina to the wood. The mirror is tight and swivels to view. It has a tiny chips on the top wood on the mirror. USE ZOOM FEATURE TO VIEW. It is all original and the front drawer appears to have 2 small areas that were repaired but it is done very nicely so it looks great. The size is 22" high by 16" low by 8" deep. The drawer opens and inside it is 6" wide by 11" long. A beautiful piece to add to your antique furniture. NICE Late 1700's-Early 1800's 2 Drawer Lift Top Tiger-Curly Maple Blanket Chest This is a very nice 2 drawer lift top tiger-curly maple blanket chest and I believe it is from the late 1700's or early 1800's and the original label with the maker is still intact on the back of the chest. Due to the age of the chest the signature is difficult to read but here is what it looks like to me-Quivei Scollay. The buyer can be the judge of the signature probably a lot better then I am. It is an antique so.Therefore, it is not flawless. It is being sold in as purchased condition out of an estate. It has pretty tiger-curly maple wood in the construction of the chest and the pictures do not do it justice. It has new hinges on the lift top part. This is just a fantastic piece of furniture. It is in overall good condition for the age. It ... morehas square nails in the construction of the chest. The chest is 39" tall, 36" long, and 19" deep. Mid-Century Modern 1960's 3 Drawer Medicine Chest Jewelry Cabinet Silverware Cabinet? I am not sure what this cabinet is. It might be a medicine cabinet or a jewelry cabinet or maybe even a silverware cabinet. It measures 15" wide x 12" deep x 10" tall. It has 3 slide out drawers. The top 2 drawers measure 1 7/8" deep and the bottom one measures 2 5/8" deep. There are no dividers in any drawer. There is a cigarette burn to the top far right and 3 circular dents to the face of 2 of the drawers. I believe this is blonde maple wood but am not certain. It is not heavy like oak wood would be.
