Mixed Lot of 29 Primitive Antique Turned Wood Knobs Drawer Handles Cabinet Knobs Yeh! My favorite flea market opened for the season. And I am still listing items from my antique store trip as well as the farm auction sale- there’s loooots of new items this week, and something for everyone! Oh. Here's a fabulous lot for you! It's 29 antique turned wood knobs- either drawer knobs or cabinet knobs- they are similar, but vary, not sets- it's a mixed lot. They range in size from 2" to 2 1/2" diameter. Some have wood screws coming out the back, some have metal screws, some have holes for screws, two have a wood screw inside of it with the head sticking out(see my photos 13& 14) and 2 have what appears to be broken screws inside of their holes- so I'm assuming the wood would need to be taken out before using. There's ... morea small group that I'm showing in photos 5& 6 that appear to have some type of inlay- it looks like mother of pearl, but I am not sure, please supersize and see what you think. There's 6 of the 29 that have damage- all in the inlay group that I was just mentioning above. From cracks to chips, to the bottom round base broken off all or some(see photo 9) they all show some damage. The other 26 knobs show lots of finish wear, scratching, scraping, small nicks and dings, but no major damage or chips/cracks like the 6 mentioned above(other than the two that have the screws broken off in their holes) All are dirty, some with palpable spots of what looks like dirt or mud(see photo 12) I have not cleaned or messed with the as barn fround patina in any way. These are very old knobs, and have lived a long life, but still have lots of life to live too. To a good home only! Please ask if you have any questions. 1936 Vintage/Antique Singer Sewing Machine W/ ORIGINAL MOTOR &Cabinet
This sewing machine was manufactured January 8. 1936 and comes with ORIGINAL Singer motor. This is unusual as many treadle machines manufactured during this time were later refitted with non-Singer parts. This machine comes with the cabinet, knee plate and working light. It will need a little restoration to be in full working order(it may be as simple as a thread stuck in the gears) The electric works properly as the light comes on when plugged in and the motor hums when the knee plate is pressed. Dresden Richard Klemm handpainted cabinet plate made circa 1900. The 6 1/4" plate has a gilt scroll border. It features a courting man and lady in a garden. This scene is very finely handpainted. Spiraling out from this central cartouche are five rings of ornate gold decoration: scrolls. Medallions of gold stylized flowers, and fretwork with gilt jewels. Apple green background. Selb, Bavaria. The mark on this plate dates it to the 1930's and it measures 11" in diameter. The plate is decorated with three medallions of a chariot pulled by horses. Between the medallions are two dragons facing each other pulling chariots driven by angels, all encrusted in gold. This unique plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the gold has very minimal wear on the edge. The plate features beautifully detailed large roses w/complementing foliage ground. The rim features a large wide gold band with hand painted a raised gilded floral design surrounded by fine detailed gold bands. The plate is signed E.Auclich. Emil Aulich was a well known& respected porcelain artist& teacher. He is known for his stunning rose designs. He worked for Pickard from 1898 to 1910. 10” diameter. Pickard mark on back over porcelain makers mark. The plate is in good condition- no chips. Cracks or crazing. The beautiful hand painted design displays beautifully, but if you look very closely you can see some short scratches from stacking around the yellow rose, bottom green leaves& ... moregold. On the backside at about 11 o'clock above label there is a mark that looks like 11- or 16. On the front side there is markings that look like 7 MAC. Note: unsure of the markings. As this is the best I can make out.
