Vintage Cupboard China Hutch Antique Cabinet Wood Doors Shabby French Country
Featuring a charming antique china cupboard that is embellished with lots of display space and nooks and crannys. Including six shelves, six doors, two drawers and the original tattered curtains that adorn the two main doors to this enchanting piece. This awesome hutch is wooden and finished in a faux wood grain as was popular in the early 1900's. It has tons of cup hooks throughout and hardware on the lower doors for hanging and keeping treasured utensils and such. There is a space on the top as the photos show that was present when purchased, and it could be easily covered with a wooden medallion. This is 1 absolutely fabulous vintage solid wood 1930s corner china hutch cupboard cabinet with a glass front. It was originally a built-in for a stately old home. The style could nicely fit in with lodge or cabin type furnishings or a more formal setting. The hardware on it hand wrought iron. The glass is individual panes of nice old glass. It has plenty of storage in it including cabinet door storage at the bottom. It measures approx 90" tall x 37" wide x 12" deep. The workmanship is excellent and of another time. Here is a beautiful solid wood armoire/tv cabinet/wardrobe made by Henredon Fine Furniture. This features 4 drawers and a top area with wood inserts(removable) to provide for 6 compartments. The middle shelf in the top area can be removed and a small TV can fit on the bottom shelf. It measures 38" wide by 20" deep by 6'4-1/2" high. Antique DENTIST CHEST CABINET - Drawers, Mirror, Marble, Locks
This lovely old dentist chest was purchased in New Jersey many years ago but it still has the medicinal odors that impregnated the wood in the top glass shelf. Antique dealer has appraised this item for over $3500. The mixing slate is gone from the pull out work area as seen in the picture and would require a piece of glass cut to size. There are many shallow drawers as well as deeper ones. There is a cupboard door for larger objects. It has a mirror top as well as a mirror backdrop under the shelf. This shelf has a glass door that lifts up to access the things stored there. The wood is nicely finished and the green marble base is in excellent condition. The item is very heavy and will require special packing as the mirror is NOT attached and must be handled separately. Perhaps one of the earliest American Jam/Jelly Cupboards ever listed on Ebay. From our research. We could only find a handful of cabinets as old as this one offered anywhere on the Web. This piece is completely handmade,consisting of hand hewn boards, hand cut boards, hand forged nails(Rosehead) square pegs, hand dovetailed case, hand dovetailed drawers, hand camphored panels and drawer bottoms, with no circular saw marks on any wood in the cabinet. The hand dovetailed case is still tight and strong. The piece is made entirely of solid wood and is very heavy. We are uncertain of the type of wood used in its construction. We have found no evidence of any major repairs excluding a small piece of wood ... morereplaced on corner of one drawer front, and repair on left rear foot approx 3 to 4"both shown in photos)The hardware is NOT original to this piece, as somewhere approx 100 years ago, it was replaced with turn of the century handles and door catches. The hinges however ARE original to the piece.We have found no evidence of added nails, screws or board replacements. Drawer runners are original and in excellent shape. Drawer bottoms are original and drawers are tight. Inside boasts original shelving, attached to outer casing with beautiful square pegging, all original(shown in photo. A very old key escutcheon was used to tighten a front door, repair probably done around 1850-1860's using the escutcheon as reference(shown in photo) Finish is original on sides, however somewhere back in time, stain or varnish was applied to the front and top of cabinet. This was probably done around the same time the hardware was replaced, as it is very old. Coloring was added on repair on front drawer and rear foot, and blends nicely with original finish. Napanee Hoosier Style Kitchen Cabinet Cupboard Porcelain Top. This is a genuine Napanee Hoosier Cabinet Model J. as stamped on the back. 1925. It is just the( bottom) portion but includes the white porcelain top. The cabinet measures 48" x 27" The white porcelain top has 8 porcelain chips on the edges as you can see from the photos and two tiny flea bites, also on the side. There are 5 drawers. The top left drawer is divided into 3 back sections and 2 front sections. The drawer is 21 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches deep. The top right drawer is one large drawer 21 x 21 1/2 long and 3/3/4" deep. The right middle drawer is 12" wide and 6 1/2" deep. The bottom right drawer is a metal bread box 11" wide for the insert and 12" wide including the wood, 9 1/2 inches deep. This drawer has some damage to the wood at ... morethe top and bottom as you can see from the photos. The 2 big lower drawers each have metal brackets measuring 8 1/2" high and 13 1/2" long. Inside this section, the top shelf sides out and has been replaced. It measures 29" x 21 imches and the space height is 6 3/4" The bottom shelf has a new bottom over the old and measures 10" in height form the shelf above. There are two slide out boards: a pastry board measuring 15 1/2 x 21 3/4 wide with a hand notch undernearth for easy handling. the other is a cutting board 11" x 16" made of 1" stock wood. The back of the cabinet says Porcelain White Model J and has the original shipment tag: Napanee IND 839-M and a partial Railway sticker The veneer is wavey on the bottom back but the cabinet is solid. The cabinet needs slides for the porcelain top. The previous owner had stripped the white paint which is still visible in the edges. Old hardware. Vintage Oak Hoosier Style Cabinet By Klamer-Goebel Furniture Co. Evansville, IN
This is a beautiful old two piece Hoosier style bakers cabinet. It measures approx. 75" Tall x 26" deep x 42" wide. The counter top measures 48 1/4" wide as it overhangs the edges of the cabinet. The cabinet was made by the Klamer-Goebel Furniture Company in Evansville. Indiana. The label is still affixed to the back of the cabinet. If I had to guess the age of the cabinet, I would say that it is from the mid to late 1930's. It has been recently refinished which consisted of painstakingly stripping 3 layers of different colored paint and one coat of stain down to the original oak, then applying a coat of Sedona Red stain was applied to the outside of the cabinet in a manner which allowed the natural grains in the oak still to come through. if you zoom in the 1st picture you can see the natural grain of the oak! The ... moreinside of the cabinet was painted with a high grade paint and primer in a very similar color. The counter top is also oak and was also painted with the same color and sealed several times. New round casters were added to the bottom that are very similar to the original ones that were broken and not working. The color of this cabinet, which i consider to be close to a rich,warm cinnamon shade will go great with any color cabinets you have in your kitchen, white, medium or dark. There is a pull out biscuit prep board under the counter top. There are two tilt out bins on the bottom and a slide out drawer on the bottom left. There is no wood rot anywhere on the cabinet.The top middle door mirror is old and beveled with minor age spots and the other two top doors have an old frosted crackled ice type glass in them. There is also a smaller tilt out bin on the top middle with a drawer above it. Other than the cabinet being quite old and it's normal condition from age, there are no major defects whatsoever. This cabinet is so exceedingly rare we did not know what we initially had on hands until we got some history on it and then sanitary back panels& base started tying everything in place. Its wonderful and nothing less! It has all lovely original glass with very desirable old wavy effects throughout every pane. This is thick heavy plate glass on each of its doors and side panels. It has four heavy plate glass shelves that have all been cut with exacting precision to fit the interior of ... morethis cabinet. It is further defined by a very high quality faceted crystal knob. Scrolled base apron and lovely formed sides. Its finish is in an all original mahogany/cherry color. The piece has never seen a hard day in its entire life and are simply thrilled to have the honor of selling it. It obviously intersects with several areas of collector's interests and its one of those pieces that should be held hostage but it causes arguments. Its company inventory and that's that!
