Lot of 7 vintage metal boxes for storage of little treasures. Organizing crafts, screws, small parts, file papers, notes, index cards, recipes, scrapbooking materials, e.t.c. Could be painted with a desired theme to make them pretty. Great for a cubist art project. The largest one measures 10-1/4" tall x 12-1/2" long x 5-1/2" wide. Dimensions of the smallest one are 3-1/2" tall x 5" long x 3-3/8 wide. All very well made from a heavier gauge metal tin in typical industrial colors. A few were made by Excelsior. Vintage Primitive Tin RUSTY Patina METAL Pantry BOX w/Lid ~ STEAMPUNK STORAGE
Downsizing.or trying to. I happened upon a great farm auction recently.and found these wonderful metal boxes that nobody knew what they were made for. It was a dairy farm.200 years old.and the last surviving owner was an artisan. All of the original dairy and farming implements were still on site.and some people called these fishing tackle boxes.some called them bread boxes.and some called them pantry tins. I don't know if these were destined to be used to package products from the farm.as there were so many.and all the same.and unused. They came out of the barn.and have all degrees of rust. I thought they looked great together.but can only keep one or two myself. I couldn't just buy one or two though. I had to buy the whole lot. So. What I've done is taken a picture of all of them, and will sell one a week until they're gone. ... moreI've decided to throw in some of the ephemera that came out of the farm as well. There's nothing valuable in the ephemera, just interesting stuff to look through as it's vintage. The one'valuable' item I will be adding to each box is a piece of original art made by the artisan who lived on the farm. I ended up hauling away a file cabinet full of her beautiful tole samples(all painted on cardboard)as she apparently painted toleware and sold items at her own in town art studio back in the 50s. I've included the'envelope folder' which held the sample piece along with the instruction/description of the design. The piece could be framed as art in my opinion.but I've got more than my share. So am happy to spread the wealth. So. This auction is for one primitive pantry tin/ bread box/ tackle box- not sure which.with added ephemera from the auction as well as one piece of hand-painted tole art. Vintage SWEDISH METAL STORAGE BOXES 3 3/4" long x 2 3/4" wide x 7/8" deep
3 ea. small vintage Swedish metal boxes. 3 3/4" long x 2 3/4" wide x 7/8" deep. They're just the right size to fit into a jacket or shirt pocket. I like to put my fish hooks. Swivels, spinners and fly's in them. I have one readily accessible in my outside pocket when fishing. It works out great! Hundreds of uses! A real nice little item! Note: Visible surface scratches present. Most of these are 50 plus years old. The majority of them have the three crown symbol of the Swedish military on the lid.

Vintage PARK #1780 Metal Utility Tool Storage Fishing Tackle Box Good+Green
Box is 17" long x 9" wide x 10" tall not counting handle. There are 2 cantilevered trays on either side of box which has latch with hasp in case you want to lock it up. This one about 50 years old and has seen use and still does its job with no reason not to. It is solid and complete. All hardware working as intended but not as stiff and tight as it was when first produced. Bottom has rust and is solid but bumpy in spots, sits flat better with a little weight in it. Nothing about this all-metal, well-constructed piece can't be spruced up if you want, or can be used as is. Enlarge pics to see condition, but you can't see how heavy this one is! Shabby Chic Look Black Metal Mesh Wrought Iron Storage Cabinet W/Drawers
Shabby chic looking metal wrought iron storage cabinet in great condition. Has some superficial rusty areas and could be painted any color but it looks great just the way it is. I used it for nail polish and nail products but you could store anything in it. Even turn it into a planter! The mesh areas could be woven thru with ribbon, fabric, silk flowers, etc. Nice craft project! Measures 27" tall from top to bottom. It has an almost pyramid type shape so the top is 9" across and the bottom is 12" across. Each drawer is 6" deep, has 4 drawers. Stands on 4 round metal legs. Really cute!
