Durham Sterling Silver Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set 295 grams 1950s Cream Pitcher Description This is a gorgeous sterling silver cream and sugar set from Durham Silver Company from the 1950s. The sugar bowl measures approximately 3 1/4 inches tall( not including the handles) and 3 inches in diameter across the bowl edge to edge. From the edge of the handle to the edge of the handle measures approximately 5 inches. The pitcher measures approximately 4 inches tall to the highest point of the spout. From the tip of the handle to the top of the spout is approximately 4 inches. The two pieces together weigh just over 295 grams. Both are marked Sterling Durham. It appears that these pieces might have had a gold wash on the interior. But I am not absolutely certain of that. Both pieces are in very good vintage condition. There are a few teeny tiny ... moredings that are barely noticeable. But I did want to mention them. This would make a wonderful gift. Or a great addition to your table. Charles(1807–1879) bishop of Durham, was the fourth son of Sir Thomas Baring, second baronet, of the eminent banking firm of Baring Brothers. His mother was Mary Ursula, daughter of Charles Sealy, barrister-at-law, Calcutta. Charles Thomas Baring was privately educated till he entered Christ Church, Oxford, in 1825. At Oxford he greatly distinguished himself, and took a double first-class in classics and mathematics in his final examination in 1829. In 1830 he married his cousin Mary Ursula Sealy, and took holy orders. At first he devoted himself to clerical work in Oxford, and then took the little living of Kingsworthy in Hampshire. In 1840 his wife died, and he married in 1846 Caroline, daughter of Thomas Read Kemp of ... moreDale Park, Sussex. A wonderful group of correctly impressed WW1 medals. 1914/15 star named 1300 Pte W H Parker K. EDW.H, BWM and Victory 2.LIEUT W H Parker and unnamed WW2 medal mounted as worn to a man commissioned from the ranks of King Edwards Horse to the DLI. William Parker was a New Zealander who enlisted in the 2 nd King Edwards Horse in London on 23 December 1914. He was given the rank of lance Corporal and served with the Regiment throughout WW1 during which time he was wounded in action on 15 September 1915. Parker left KEH on 29 Jan 1918 to take up a commission with the Durham Light Infantry. He was discharged to New Zealand and demobilised on 13 July 1919. During WW2 he was commissioned in to the NZ forces. With whom he had home service. Sold with numerous papers. 1920's Rare Vintage Pepsi peanut pinch bottle Durham, N.C AUTHENTIC
I have a nice Pepsi Cola peanut pinch bottle. Made in Durham North Carolina. I used my flash with some of the pictures which makes it look a bit darker than it is. The main photo is the actual color of the bottle. I have tried to picture all the imperfections that it must have gotten through its many years. There is one chip on the outside that you can feel its small, there appears to be what look like small scratches and a few other chips that you cannot feel I'm guessing they're on the inside. Sewing Machine, Cuckoo Clock - Durham Industries! Swan mini iron w/ Trivet
This is a unique miniature collectible- it is a cuckoo clock by Durham Industries. It is just under 3 1/2 inches tall. As you turn the lever on the right. The cuckoo comes out. Also, the weights are movable. As with age, a couple of the numbers are worn and the base could use a bit of tightening, however, it is rustic and a very unique collectible for one who is into collecting miniature items. There is also the sewing machine that has a handle that moves making the needle go up and down. It is just over two inches tall and is about 2 1/2 inches wide. It was also made by Durham Industries. It would make a fine collectible. The mini swan iron that sits on its trivet is about 3 1/4 inches long(total length) The iron itself is just over two inches long. It makes a good collectible for those who are into collecting miniature items.

This is a brass-colored coin 2-1/2" in diameter. I believe it was a give-away-type thing from the Durham& Bates Insurance Company in Portland. Or. It has the ship Ironsides and says"Old Ironsides, launched 1797; 1804 Tripoli; 1812 Guerriere Jave; 1815 Cyane Levant; U.S. Frigate Constitution" on the front side. On the backside it says Durham& Bates, Portland, Ore. USA, Insurance, Roebing Co. at Attleboro Mass and the name J.E. Hergert has been etched into it. I don't know what it is made of, but it's heavy and looks like brass but probably just some generic metal.
