This is a Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Drawer for the Deco style cabinet No. 42. This is located on the left side of the cabinet. I have pictured an example of the cabinet and circled the drawer's location. I have also pictured a catch that flips up to remove the drawer. The drawer is solid and has scratches and wear on the front. The finish was brushed with a gloss poly some time ago. Brush marks are visible. The drawer has a built-in ink holder and pen tray. The inside of the drawer is a little dusty. The face of the drawer measures 7" x 3-3/4" and is 14" deep not including the handle. I am listing other drawers from this cabinet. The front of the drawers are just beautiful. All the lettering is there and is still very clear. Drawers are all intact and there is no missing parts with this case. There is a little finish loss on one side at bottom, see pic. Also some paint speckling(don't you just hate idiots whom do something like that) which I did not attempt to remove. I just wiped the case down with Murphy's wood soap and put some Old English polish on it. The door pulls appear to be white. porcelain. Great trim detailing on the sides. This card index file comes in 5 sections. The fully assembled unit measures 33 inches wide by 48 inches high. The base unit that 3.75 inches high. The first stage above the base is comprised of two standard file drawers that are 14 inches high and 24 inches deep in a self contained wood unit. The pull out wood writing surfaces are solid wood with edge banding with slotted finger holes and measure 15 inches wide and 14 inches long. The pull out section itself measures 2.25 inches high. The 30 index card file drawers come in two 15 Drawer sections and measure 3.875 x 5.875 with interior dimension of 3 x 5 inches. The knobs and the card holders are solid brass and there is one knob missing but should be easy to replace. Given it's age this unit is in pristine condition. AMAZING ANTIQUE 99 DRAWER APOTHECARY CABINET FROM AUSTRIA This piece is tryly one of a kind. Actually. The cabinet is 2 pieces. The top piece measures 114" wide x 39" tall x 14" deep, and houses storage cubbies and 54 drawers. The bottom piece measures 114" wide x 55" tall x 18" deep, and contains 36 flat drawers and 9 large bins. Each drawer has a metal enameled number from 1-99 and is made from dovetailed construction. As you can see in the pictures, the long drawers have various built-in divider configurations. The vast majority slide in/out nice and smooth, but some are wobbly. Solid. Very dense/heavy wood(pine? construction. Extremely rigid& sturdy.also heavy. It is a Globe Wernicke four drawer library card file cabinet. It is made out of quarter sawn oak and appears to have the original finish. The cabinet is 9 1/4" tall x 17" deep x 14" wide. It weighs almost 30 pounds. Overall. The cabinet appears to be in very good used condition. One of the drawer fronts has been repaired. The cabinet has a slight front to back wobble. This is a really great 8 drawer quartersawn oak store or apothecary cabinet. 8 drawers on one side and two sliding doors on the other. Would make a wonderful island for your kitchen or sewing room or? Reminds me of the bean seed counters from the same time period. We have refinished this piece and it is in excellent condition with a smooth and even finish. Overall size of the piece is 68 long. 27 wide, and 34 high. The interior of the drawers are 13.5 wide, 11 deep, and 9.5 high. Note the paneled sides and sliding doors. The door interiors have adjustable shelves. All drawers have the original fancy cast iron pulls with a space for drawer labels. I found a label with the piece reading'Meinke's Drug Store, Pandora, Ohio' Great piece of country store furniture.
