The ironwork underneath is decent and it even has some of the original gold paint highlighting on it. I could get picky about the iron finish, which is not perfect, but it's pretty nice in my opinion. Primitive Antique Wood Kitchen Counter Cabinet Two Drawer Spice Storage Great!!
Here's a fabulous primitive two drawer folk art cabinet which is perfect for displaying on a counter in your kitchen or dining room. It is a great old piece and will add a lot of charm and storage to your kitchen. There are other uses for it too. Use it as a small table in a tight space. The finish is rough as it was used for many years but it's still structurally strong and ready for you to use. The sides are made from slats of wood which are pickle stained on the opposite side(the side that you don't see unless you turn it upside down. There is chipping to the back of the piece as if it was veneered(no slats on back) but you will not see the back if put on counter against a wall. Nails of different kinds hold this piece together and it looks as if some were added as the years went on. The corners and edges are worn from years ... moreof use. This is true wear not reproduction wear- this piece is very old and well used. There are paint smudges, splatters, a small round patch to cover what I think was a nail hole. The knobs are made of wood, and are lighter in color than the body. The top and front are made from 3/4" thick, solid pieces of wood(probably pine) This was a utilitarian piece, one that was used a lot for a long time so it shows it's age. If early American/primitive is your look, this is perfect! You can clean it up or leave it as it. I will leave that to you. Measurements: 18 1/2" deep x 15" h x 9 1/2"w and fits nicely on a conventional sized countertop with room to spare in front. The drawers are 18" long x 5" deep, great to hold linens, candles, utensils, etc. The best representation of condition are the photos. I take as many as 12 to show you the condition. Rare Vintage Porcelain/Ceramic Daisy Cabinet Drawer Knobs 4 - 2 3/4" 20 - 1 1/2"
Unique retro porcelain/ceramic cabinet/drawer knobs with a green crackle finish daisy center. These are definitely some of the most unique knobs I have ever seen. They have a transparent yellow glaze on the backs and the top outer edge. The centers have an indented daisy design with a green glaze covered with a clear crackled glass like finish(It looks and feels like real glass) They have some variations in the color/finish probably due to the nature of how they were made. The 4 large ones are 2 3/4" in diameter and stand about 1 1/8" high. The 20 small knobs are 1 1/2" in diameter and stand about 3/4" high. There is a metal insert for the bolts. On two of the large ones. It is not totally flush with the back of the knob. On two of the small ones it is missing, but it looks like it could be easily replaced. It looks like ... moretwo other of the small ones have been replaced(silver instead of brass) There is some crazing on the backs of some of the knobs(mostly the large ones) and some discoloration in places. Some of the centers have'cracks' and small'chips' that can be felt and seen at a certain angle(could have been like that new) I don't think you would ever notice them when on a cabinet/drawer. Most of the centers are smooth to the touch but if you run your nail over them you can feel cracks in some of them(nothing is loose) I believe the crackle finish is the way they were made. But I suppose it could be from age. At any rate it looks pretty cool and doesn't affect wear. There are two of the small knobs that you can feel the daisy indentation on- the glass part is considerably thinner. There are a few dark specks in a few of them. Again, variations due to how they were made. I don't know how old these are, but I have heard everything from the 1920's to the 1970's. Please look closely at the photos and enlarge them. The lower right door sticks a little when you try to pull it out but the others work fine. The cabinet measures 31.75" W x 16.5" W x 20.25" H. The drawers measures 8.75" W x 14.5" D x 7" H inside. The cabinet comes apart into four sections for easy moving. Each section has 15 drawers. There is also a base/riser section. Two pull-out table sections, and a top cap. There is a mix of wood and plastic drawer bodies. I would guess that two of the units came with wood drawers and two were added later with plastic drawers. All of the drawer faces are the same, though if you look very closely the guide rod is slightly different in appearance. One guide rod is missing and a couple are loose or slightly bent. The top of the cabinet shows some wear. I also noticed some damage around one of the clips that helps align the sections when they are stacked up, but it is not visible when the units are stacked. ... moreOtherwise it has survived decades of middle school use in very nice condition. Early 20th century divided drawer from a printer's cabinet. 32" by 17" by 1 1/2" impressed on one of the dividers in the drawer is THOMPSON CABINET CO PRINTER'S FURNITURE. The dividers and framework are wood, the drawer bottom is the original pressboard, drawer face is metal and retains the original nickel or chrome plated handle. There are 89 sections in the drawer that range in size from 1" by 2" to 6" by 2" This is a great wall piece for displaying all sorts of little treasures and photographs and it would make a fantastic coffee table top with a piece of glass over it. It is solidly constructed and an authentically old piece. There is a bit of surface rust and wear on the metal drawer front and faint pencil marks, letters, numbers and names written on the edges and sides of the drawer dividers- ... morea reminder of its former life. Antique Beautiful Solid Oak 2 Drawer Spool Cabinet (General Store)
You are viewing a beautiful Wm. Clark spool cabinet made of solid oak measuring 20" wide x 19" long x 7" high. I bought this wonderful cabinet 42 years ago in Ann Arbor Michigan and was told it came from a General Store in Ohio. It is clean and all original and has only been used for display in my home. It makes a great counter top display and is very sturdy and useful for any collection you may have. All 4 knobs are solid brass and original to the cabinet and both drawers are dovetailed. There is no replaced wood. No stains to the finish or significant damages to report. All sides and the bottom are original and in extremely good shape. I am downsizing and this great piece needs a new home. Look over all the pictures for they are an important part of the description. Thanks!

Three excellent vintage antique metal Singer sewing machine ring drawer pulls. The base of the pulls measures 1 3/8" square and are embossed" SINGER MFG. CO. and each handle shank is incised" PAT. JUNE 6 82" There are 2 with 5/8" shanks and one has a1" shank. I do not have the parts to secure them to the drawer. Item is described and shown as best I can. Original Antique Chinese Red Lacquer Hand-Painted Two Drawer Cabinet This beautiful little antique cabinet is a great find! It is presently in need of repair. one of the doors is detached and split(see pictures) The pieces are present but I've elected not to attempt repairs- and would rather leave that up to the buyer. Appears to have a wax customs-stamp. Offered"as-is" and"as found" please review the pictures. The Cabinet stands at 28 1/2 inches high. It is 24 3/4 inches wide and 14 inches deep. About the size of a night-stand or entry table. I'm not an expert in antique Chinese furniture. However. I have a friend that deals in antiques and she told me that judging by the joints, details and signs of age it is definitely an ORIGINAL piece and she guessed it was from the 1920's- 1930's. I found one similar ... moreantique hand painted chinese cabinet and the description stated that the similar piece was from Qinghai Province, China. Perhaps this is piece is from the same area.
