Scrapes, and a little dirt, the machine is both cosmetically and functionally excellent. For those not familiar with this type of saw. It's essentially a horizontal bandsaw in a vertical configuration. The blade and vertical column travel on an inclined track that gravity feeds(with hydraulic feed control) into the material to be cut. The stock material is clamped in place on the 18 x 30" table. 4 speed belt pulley system driven by a 1Hp. Single phase Baldor motor. Blade speeds are: 70. 140, 270 and 525 fpm. Wired for 110V standard household current. This machine is probably the most versatile saw of its' size: With the vise or clamp installed. ... moreIt takes the place of a horizontal AND vertical bandsaw. Straight cuts are made using the vise. Miter cuts are made using the angle plate swivel work block and large C-clamp. With the vise removed. It can be used as a contour or straight cut saw. A rip fence(not included) could be installed which would allow straight cuts. The clamp is new from Roll In as it was missing from the machine when we got it. The vise is a custom-modified.
