Vintage Antique 1947 Emerson Model 1003 Restored & Working AM Radio
1947 Emerson AM Radio Model 1003 Very beautiful radio that works and looks great! I continue to help sell off the collection of restored radios by a local collector and radio enthusiast. This restored radio has a beautiful original wood cabinet with a very nice finish. The radio measures approximately 11.5" x 6.5" x 8" and gets strong reception with its internal antenna. 6 Tubes. SuperHet, AM. All capacitors, resistors and tubes have been tested and replaced as necessary. Dial is really nice and illuminates nicely with the dial light. This is a radio that would be a wonderful addition to any collection. A very cool display piece or an amazing and unique gift! VINTAGE 1950 GENERAL ELECTRIC 5 TUBE RADIO MODEL 135
VINTAGE 1950 GENERAL ELECTRIC 5 TUBE RADIO MODEL 135. Up for auction is this nice looking GE Radio. It is brown with a mahogany marbled color going through it. The case is quite stunning but if held to the light just so you can see some very fine scratches. Still has the factory shine and feels nice to the touch. Most of the scratches are very fine. A couple are not. Maybe the close up pictures will show them. There are no cracks or chips in the case that I can see. The middle bottom screw that holds the chassis in has been tightened almost too much at one time because the case looks a little stressed not quite a crack yet. There are a couple of cracks on the top edge of the slide rule plastic cover. These cracks are right on the edge of the cover where the clear cover meets the speaker grill molding. They run left to right or if you like ... moreparallel to the front of the case. From a front on level view of the radio you can't see them, only when you view the radio from an elevated angle are they apparent. Maybe the close up on the side shots will show them. Dials both turn nice. The tuning dial moves nicely down the BC band but slips going up the band so it doesn't tune the full length of the slide rule. It must need an adjustment but I'll leave that up to the new owner. Radio does power up as does the dial light. I can get one station in the length that I can tune but there is a loud buzz that goes with it. Original cord but plug looks to have been changed. A very nice radio to display as the color is really very nice. As with all old radios. I cannot guarantee that something will not shake loose or stop working during shipment, but every pre-caution will be taken to make sure that you get the radio in the same condition that it leaves. This should be a treasured radio for someones collection. Of course, for long term reliable operation, a technician should attend to the chassis. Sold As Is" So if any questions please email. RCA Victor Model 66X3 1946 Vintage Tube Radio WORKS GREAT!
This is a large six tube AC/DC table radio from RCA Victor for model year 1946. The calibration markings on the weird inward-curved glass dial have depth; they are silkscreen painted on both sides of the glass and edge-lighted from both ends. The radio's circuit is super-delux. It has the sixth(RF amplifer) tube. An IF-frequency trap at the antenna input, two bands, AM& shortwave, with adjustable padders on both bands for accurate frequency calibration across the whole dial. This radio sounds great! I've enjoyed listing to this radio while writing this posting. The cabinet is a bit rough with some scratches throughout the case. Its not a total 10, but it works great! Crosley Color Radio Model E-15 CE 1950s Coloradio Vintage Collectibles:Radios. Crosley, Coloradio(click picture for more details& pictures) This large tabletop Crosley radio is in good condition. It has no cracks or broken parts that I can find. There is some wear to the gold plating on the knobs and some to the front cross piece that resembles a cars bumper. This radio looks very much like a vintage Cadillac. Of course, right down to the coat of arms styled logo and the type face on the front. The body is of hard plastic and the trim pieces are plated metal, including the knobs, the large pointer, the dial trims, etc. the original label that includes a schematic showing what tubes the radio uses is still intact on the bottom panel. The cord is also in excellent on diction. I have plugged this radio in and it appears to be in working ... morecondition. It produces a humming noise and I could pik up variations in static, but no clear stations. Let me add that I live in a rural area and can't usually pick up any am stations in my car, either. It may need a tube, or not, but I'm not knowledgeable about electronics and can't say. The knobs do work and do adjust the tuner and the volume. This beautiful object is 12.5" wide, 6" deep, and 7" high. The color is a vintage green. The grate over the speaker is metal and painted gold.
