Unfortunately the simulator came with no software and upon contacting Spirent I found that the price of the software to run it($1950) was not cost effective for my business. With no software my testing is very limited. The simulator powers up and the fan runs smooth. Windows recognizes it as a USB device but with no drivers I was able to go no further. Cal Certificate is not included. The unit was tested using GPIB control. The 3rd picture shows the signal from MON/CAL port when the Primary RF port level is set to-110dBm. And MON/CAL port level is set to-50 dBm(There is 60 dB difference between RF port and MON/CAL port) The 4th picture shows the signal difference between MON/CAL port and RF Port. Because the Primary RF port output level is below the Spectrum Analyzer's range. We used an amplifier-chain to raise the signal. Approx. 60 dB difference was observed.
