It can drive 20 yes 20 record heads at the same time. I have had the privilege to sit at the feet of the great ones such as Les Paul. Walter Sears, Roy Cicala. Im not Name dropping Im just sharing a bit of the wisdom they passed along and they all told me when it came to chaining Ampex 350 or 351's together for multi track purpose to use a master bias oscillator. There can be none better then this one. It was originally designed for the reproduction system. But Im pretty sure that it was adapted for the 4 and 8 track Ampex tube decks.
