Up for viewing is this Vintage Rheingold Extra Dry Beer Lighted Advertising Pub. Bar, Man Cave Sign. Measures 20 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches high by 3 inches deep. Comes with the original hanging chain that is still in it's unopenend package taped to the back stand. This sign was made to stand on a bar top or hang on the wall. All parts are present. Obsidian Gourd Bead #2, Pub in Hothem, G10+ Museum Quality, x Lynn Langdon
1473-2013) Pre Columbian Gourd Bead made of a jet black colored opaque obsidian that has been ground. Incised, drilled, and polished to form. This specimen measures approx 11/16" in diameter and is about 7/16" thick. It was found on private land located near Amapa in Nayarit, West Mexico by Lynn Langdon, where Hank Johnson sold this to Michael Hough whom proceeded to have this relic published in Lar Hothem's Ornamental Indian Artifacts Book on page 426, plate 2, row 2, number 2. After Michael's untimely passing, his collection was consigned to Terry Baxter whom cataloged this relic as item#MHOW431 from whom I legally purchased it in November 2008. This relic is believed to date between 500-1400 AD. This artifact is G10+ Museum Quality and comes with a NWAC SOP.

This is a chrome postcard from the 1950-1965 era that shows the interaction of bears and man in Yellowstone National Park when it was still allowed. In the early history of the park. Visitors were allowed, and sometimes even encouraged, to feed the bears. The bears had learned to beg for food, and visitors welcomed the chance to get their pictures taken with them. This led to numerous injuries to humans each year. In 1970, park officials changed their policy and started a vigorous program to educate the public on the dangers of close contact with bears, and to try to eliminate opportunities for bears to find food in campgrounds and trash collection areas. He is about 7 1/2" tall and his tag says he was made in 1993. The 2nd is a small leprechaun holding a star ornament with a hanger. You will find very few 1857 editions. Those you do find will be considerably more than this one. This volume became the naval cadets bible for many years. It is filled with illustrations of ship construction. Ropes, charts, cannons, masts, sail patterns, etc. This book is in very good condition for its age. It has been rebound with what appears to be leather with gold lettering on the spine. The covers are marbled boards. The flyleaves on front and back have cracked but the spine is still firmly attached and in excellent condition. There is foxing on the flyleaves and the color plate seam. The covers show wear and corner rounding. There is an old library plate on the inside ... morefront cover. It appears to date to the time of the rebinding(about 1870s) Please refer to pictures This volume was found in a collection of books in an estate where it had been stored for 40 years. Egon Ronay's Pub Guide. A Selection of 600 pubs including some on the Continent. A British Tourist Authority Publication. Published by Egon Ronay's Organisation in 1976. No other edition is mentioned so this is a probable first edition. It's a softcover book and measures about 8 x 5 with 278 pages plus maps at the end. The book is in VERY GOOD+ condition. The cover has very little wear. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. The only marks are a stamp by a travel agency in Connecticut on 3 diffferent pages. Describes and recommends 600 different pubs in London, England, Scotland, and Wales. Lots of illustrations.
