An interesting piece of history and Americana. Workers were given these to be used in the company store. These are from circa the 50's or 60's and are in uncirculated condition. The tickets in the booklets come in 1$. 50 cent, 25 cent, 10 cent, 5 cent, and 1 cent intervals. Each booklet has 5 dollars worth of these tickets. The pictures are illustrative. From our family country store(in business from 1885 until 1960) I'm offering a wallpaper sample book from 1935. It's by The Nokes Findley Co. Cleveland, Book No. 1- Ceilings-Plasters-Kitchens-Tiles. The book measures 18" by 14 1/4" by 1" thick. It has 102 pages(if I counted correctly) of sample patterns plus a few pages of advertising for various related products. Approximately half the patterns are colorful as shown in the attached pictures- the other half of the book shows patterns of various glittery and sculptured ceilings, and heavier canvassed, textured wall patterns. The pad of receipts appears to be missing part of one receipt(the remainder of the torn receipt is in the pad. For example, there is a borrowing agreement between Lemule Case and Mr. Haskell. The first regular entry is dated June 5, 1827 and the page numbers are ... morealways on the left side. Disneykin 10 Piece Jungle Book Boxed Store Set
Most Jungle Book Disneykins were released as a seven piece Royal Pudding premium set. When this 10 piece set was released to retail stores it added three extra moneys. But demand was less due to the Royal Pudding premium offer and of course most sets sold at retail were opened and the box destroyed. This set is in extra fine to near mint condition with the apparent flaws in the protective shrink wrap. Te tape that holds the box together has yellowed. Box damage is contained to half in the dent in the back panel in the first paragraph of“The Jungle Book" story. It is copyright 1966 Walt Disney Productions in preparation of the films release in 1967.
