Antique Cast Iron& Wood 14 Fishing Pole Hardware Store Display Stand Rack Up for sale is this Antique Cast Iron& Wood 14 Fishing Pole Hardware Store Display Stand or rack. This was purchased at the estate sale of a 103 year old woman whose family had owned a hardware store since the late 1800s. This was used in their store. The black metal parts have a heavy black japanned finish. I don't know what type of wood was used to make this but the curved wood part on top has a bird's eye grain. The wood part on top has a groove for the rubber ring with 14 pairs of loops for the fishing pole tops. There are 14 corresponding round recessed spots in the bottom piece of wood for the base of the fishing rods. Unusual must have display rack for the antique fishing rod and reel collector! Condition: It is all original and is in very good ... morecondition with all original parts intact. No cracks or chips in the metal and most of the original japanning is intact.some rubs and oxidation from use but they are pretty minor. Measurements: 33" tall overall. The bottom measures 11" in diameter and the top measures about 6 3/4" in diameter. The rack is easily unscrewed from the heavy cast iron base so I might ship the base separately if it will reduce shipping costs. Markings: None I have many other great items up for auction. This is an antique revolving nut and bolt cabinet. It is octagon, with 72 pie shaped drawers, all with the original porcelain knobs. It is 33" tall, 22.5" across the top. The cabinet is ALL original, no touch ups on the stenciling, etc. Someone added castors to the base, which makes moving it nice. They can be easily removed. Antique 50 qty Coleman Pump Leathers No. 531-509 in Hardware Store Box - NOS
I am offering up for sale a box of Antique Coleman Pump leathers containing 50 in a box. The Coleman Part number for these leathers is 531-509. The leathers are old and have never been used. They come in their original hardware store cardboard box with two metal folding ears that secure the lid. I do not know what Coleman Models of Lamps. Lanterns or Camp Stoves they fit. Please see pictures and feel free to ask for more pictures if you would like to see them. Since I have a number of these for sale. The pictured box will not necessarily be the one that you get. It is shrink wrapped on a piece of cardboard just the way I purchased it. I appears to Include the names John Rick and C.F. Bultmann. It appears to describe the sale of a half dozen files and a keg of nails. It says the store was located on the Southeast corner of main and ninth streets and i assume that would be in Cincinnati. 2 Vintage Amerock Hardware Store Displays 1970's
These are two. Tall store display and shelving units for Amerock Hardware- probably from the 60's and 70's. They still have all of the original sample hardware on the front except for one wooden knob. The shelves are each 54" high and 16 1/2" wide. They are 8" deep at the very top and 17 1/2" deep at the bottom. The bottom right row of hardware has become corroded but if you purchase the shelves I can replace it with new hardware that was in the cubby behind it. It says that they have a"very large and complete stock of Stoves and General Hardware. The bottom line of text says"Farmers will do well to look at our Plows and Farming Goods. Some of the pictures surrounding the ad are: Rakes, barrels, baby carriage, saws, lanterns hay fork, ax, hatchet, plows, and an anvil. Dark unfinished wood on the inside; the boards show saw marks and shrinkage from age. Shows one small nail hold in the back; one old drill hold in the bottom side. MEASUREMENTS: long side 13.5 inches; shorts sides 9.5 inches; 5.5 inches deep; about 7.5 inches from center point to bottom edge. BOX 3. SMALL TRIANGLE: Built exactly the same as the others. It has old white paint on the outside of 3 sides; paint drips down the back. Inside is unfinished wood; no paper label. Shows one small nail hole in back; one old drill hold in bottom side.
