In the bottom right hand corner is copyright 1947 Great Northern RY. St. Paul, U.S.A. In the top left corner is a paper flap. Vintage Gibson 1950 ES-125 ES 125 arch top acoustic electric guitar
Up for bid is a 1950 Gibson ES-125. When I bought it from a reputable ebay dealer. I was told it was all original, except the tuners, which seem to be period correct reproductions. It plays well has a nice thin neck and the P-90 pick-ups sound great. It is a fully functioning, gigable guitar. HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME ISSUES: There is a repair where the headstock and neck meet, typically seen on Gibsons. It seems to be holding tight and the guitar stays in tune even when it hasn't been played in a while. ALSO, because of the design flaw in the bracing of these guitars the arch top is somewhat concave right under the bridge. Again this doesn't seem to reflect the playability, I find the action comfortably low. I'm sure any good luthier could fix it for a reasonable price. I wouldn't be putting this up for sale, but as everyone ... moreknows the economy has tanked and things are so expensive, I could use the extra cash. This guitar has it's share of dings and various other marks from use, but I think it gives it character. I've seen these go for around $1500.00 in excellent condition. Contoured Top Rectangle Soap Mold, 3 Cavities, Gently Used, Durable Plastic
Durable clear plastic soap mold. Contoured top rectangle with 3 cavities. This mold is gently used and in very good condition. It is a Precision Craft Mold. You can get a nice size 4oz bar soap from each cavity. The cavity measures about 3 1/2 inches long x 2.75 width with a 1.4 depth. I used this mold with melt& pour soap base. Soap molds can tolerate temperatures up to about 135-145° F. Above these temperatures. Warping can occur. The bars just pop right out if you follow these instructions. Soap is easiest to release 12 to 24 hours after cooling. Don't manhandle the molds when releasing contents! If you have any difficulties, place the soap molds in your freezer for about a half hour.
