This item is in pretty decent cosmetic condition. It does have some normal scuffs and scratches and a little staining from age. Please refer to the pictures provided below for more details on the condition of the item. We tested this unit out a bit. The unit did work. Mostly. The compressor cools down properly and the maker did make ice cubes. There is an issue with the fill system. We believe it may be actually missing a fill sensor, or we don't understand the system. We ended up manually filling the resevoir with water and the pump circulated the water through and over the ice making portion. The pump was a little loud. But performed properly. The ... moreunit did make ice and after awhile the ice came off and fell down below. Unit will need some work for the filling system and may need some tuning for the timer for ice making and harvesting time. Will be sold as-is beyond our basic testing. This is a used metal breaker from a Scotsman AFE400 ice machine. The exact model that it came out of was AFE400A-1H. Please confirm this for yourself. But from the diagram I found online, this is part of item 02-4575-21. This just the breaker and not the screws or o-rings shown with the full part number online. The metal on this is a little chewed up. I tried to get a few different angles to show some of the places where the threads are a little stripped and/or the metal is dinged. Resevoir & Float for Scotsman AFE400 ice machine
This is a used Reservoir and Float from a Scotsman AFE400 ice machine. The exact model that it came out of was AFE400A-1H. Please confirm this for yourself. But from the diagram I found online, these parts are: 02-2217-01 Reservoir& valve. 02-2217-02 Float valve. The top plastic reads: Robert Mfg. Co. Cucamonga. CA. Model No. 1072241. As can be seen in the photos. There is some hard water calcification on the float. I didn't go to any real effort to clean it off as I didn't want to damage anything, but a lot of it fell off when this part was removed. It's tough to see in the photos. But there is a crack in the plastic by the top metal screw-on connector. It looks like maybe someone got a little rough at some point when tightening or untightening a hose to that part. I don't think it will impact this working(after a good ... morecleaning) but I'm pricing it without knowing for sure so please bid accordingly.
