To give you a little background, I have been servicing Sub-Zero and Wolf equipment in the Chicagoland Area for the last 10 years, and am very familiar with these units. This unit was removed from a lakefront loft during a renovation, and has been fully serviced, with ALL preventative maintenance done. For anyone familiar with Sub-Zero equipment, whether as a servicer or an enthusiast that has done hours of online research, it is a known fact that these are outstanding units. After 10 years or so, one could, and will except the condenser fan motor to fail, and around the same time the refrigerator evaporator coil to leak. The second of the two, if undiagnosed for some time, will cause compressor failure which very likely could result in a repair totalling a few thousand dollars. Because I am guaranteeing this unit(in the Chicago area) I had replaced the evaporator coil, filter dyer, tested the compressor oil for acidity, replaced the condenser fan motor, as well cleaning and teflon coated the condenser coil. Mechanically, the refrigerator is as sound as the day it left the factory in Wisconsin. In addition to doing that maintenance/repair, i had upgraded all of the lighting inside to cool white(6000K) LED, replaced the freezer door gasket, and refrigerator door hinge. At some point in the past, the hinge mounting screw had gone loose, and had scratched the top of the freezer drawer handle(had pics) I had also purchased BRAND NEW stainless panels for this unit, they are 20 Gauge Stainless Steel, with a#4(microfinish) The pictures that are shown with stainless pane
